Chinese Dim Sum Taiwanese

The food at ZMM has been top notch for years. You can always depend on getting authentic Taiwanese/Chinese cuisine with good portions. Highly recommend the duck buns and the Zhajiang Mian (fried sauce noodles). Make sure to read the fine print, as they do include a service charge which might explain the leisurely pace of the staff.

If all you eat are the bao, this place is five stars however the other dishes we had were one or two stars. The vegetarian, pork belly and duck bao were incredible, but the pork shu mai were half raw with soggy dough while the duck wonton noodles were way too salty

I had some spicy noodles, they were really good. For anyone from the UK that knows Wagamama, this is that good.

I live in Montréal usually, and there’s an excellent hole-in-the-wall Chinese homemade noodle shop there that I would frequent with my friend for comfort food after disappointing grades. Being back in Denver during the summer means I don’t have access to that anymore, so I desperately wanted to find somewhere to go on subpar days to make myself feel better. I found Zoe Ma Ma. It’s not the most glamorous restaurant in the world, but the juicy, delicious flavour of their cheap Dan Dan Mian goes straight to the soul of this college student with an unfortunately capricious life. I am sure I will be going to Zoe Ma Ma many more times this summer on bad days to make them that much better.

Dandan noodles were great! Although I’m not from Sichuan, being Chinese from the northern parts, I’ve had my fair share of Sichuan food. I’ve been missing some good Chinese food for a while, Zoe Ma Ma definitely satisfied the craving!!!That said, the shrimp shumai was very meh. Also, a bottle of Tsingtao at 7 bucks (including tax) is the most we’ve ever paid for this brand. After all, less than 1 dollar back home in China.

Worst food I have ever tried:1, mandatory tips: after I saw the receipt did I notice there is 15% tips written. Worst thing I have ever experienced, there is no service at all and everything you have to do by yourself. Even you have to pick your own food.2, cheating: I asked for iced water and after I saw the receipt then noticed I was charged $2.5. I went to the counter and the stinky boss told me he thought I asked for iced tea. Guys, check your bill and don’t just pay it.3, dirty environment. Even the desk and the table come with a thick layer of gray or dark oil. No service at all. Thinking of having paid mandatorily charged with tips but without getting served, you will feel more angry.4, unauthentic food. Asked for beef noodles, but what was served is not northern Chinese nor southern Chinese. Very best test.5, even I’m Chinese and this is a Chinese restaurant , but I strongly don’t suggest anyone to go there. The support to them will make them even worse, thinking to take tips as granted without doing nothing. It’s them who make the American standard lower.

We tried the veggie, pork, and duck bao- SOOO TASTY - 11/10 hit the spot and will be back. Service was friendly and helpful. ☺️

Excellent food, taking me back to when I was in China. Amazing staff. Ask for the chili oil and szechuan peppercorn oil - just incredible!

Noah and the management team just made my best friend’s family bday event smooth, delicious, and just so easy. I called in needing a family style huge order for like 20 people and the amount of follow-through and flexibility and communication was over the top great. I can’t thank y’all enough for helping in making this event so very special. We can’t wait to cater out our next big event and likely her bday again next year!!

I had ordered the chicken curry on a whim and was glad that I did. I never had a curry like this before and was pleasantly surprised at the comfort and level of flavor that it held. The chicken was tender and the potatoes and carrots were incorporated nicely into the dish. It was amazing and well balanced on the bed of rice it was served on.
