I have an affinity for locally owned, neighborhood joints that have been in business for many years — they seem to be disappearing by the day. The restaurant business is tough and to stick it out for 40+ years is admirable. Unfortunately our first visit here was underwhelming. Upon walking in the door there was a layer of haze in the air and the unmistakable smell of old fryer oil permeated the building. There was no atmosphere to speak of - no music - just the clanking of fryer baskets, hushed conversation by weary patrons and a staff that seemed less than thrilled to be working on a Sunday.A two piece fish platter with fries and two beers came out to $26 with tip. The fish was chewy and while the batter was pleasantly crispy, it tasted of old fryer oil; I did like the tarter sauce. The chips (fries) consisted of bits and pieces from the end of a bag and the bottom 1/3 of the boat they arrived in was composed of crumbled batter. I dislike giving bad reviews, especially to legacy restaurants but this was a very poor showing of effort - there was a palpable lack of care in the establishment on this day.

Got the 2 pc fish and chips, fresh & nice quality cod that is cut into 1"x1"x 8" long strips and beer batter fried. The "chips" are plain frozen bag fries (nothing to get excited about and definitely not real "chips") and the tarter sauce is pretty flavorless almost like a straight mayo w/no detectable dill or pickle in it. The shrimp breaded with same batter as the fish and came with fries. The clam chowder was good but a bit thin. Overall decent food, friendly service but prices at double or triple the price of what I would pay in New England.

We tried it as some friends raved about it. We are pretty picky when it comes to fish and chips from spending so much time in the Pacific Northwest. It was fine for fish and chips in Colorado. The chips were ok. The staff was friendly. It was clean inside.

Ate there this weekend for the first time and we were blown away by how awesome our meal was…we tried the Combo Meal and can’t wait to go back for more. It was a little pricier than expected but then the awesome meal made it worth the price and worth the drive. The staff was also fantastic and they pride in their product! KUDOS to Yorkshire Fish and Chips…

I am not a big fish eater, but after hearing nonstop great things about this place I decided to give it a try. I was absolutely blown away at how good the fish and chips were. I don't have anything to compare it to since i normally do not eat fish but after eating THEIR fish and chips, I might just start eating only Yorkshire fried fish as a source of protein. I might die of a heart attack, but as long as I die eating Yorkshire fried fish, I will go into heaven happy.

The fish and chips here are unmatched! The fish is always fresh and delicious. I always order the clam chowder as well. There are full potatoes and fresh clams inside. It doesn't look like much from the street, but that's the appeal I believe. There are other seafood items as well to order. If you are in area do yourself a favor and stop in!

Good place to order food and the guys are quick on orders!!

Best fish and chips around! Guys are always friendly restaurant is always clean. Food is a little pricey but you get what you pay for!

Fish was bland and had been setting a while. Fries were soggy and the neighborhood is ghetto and dangerous..Make your own at home..it will be vastly superior to this awful place in every way. I would give negative stars if I could. It's really that bad.

Great fish and chips, they also have scallops, clam strips and shrimp. I recommend the combo plate. It's a lot of food for each meal. They also have great desserts and beer in bottle.
