Terrible customer service!!!! Very rude & dry servers. The manger is the same when we spoke to him about our servers. He basically said they don’t have to be friendly they just take your order. Food was basic & drinks were weak!
Came in on a Friday night and they were pretty busy. They definitely have lots of TVs but otherwise the service was slow. Had some apps that were ok, but took a while to get my drinks. It’s the only place around here that stays open past 10, so that’s probably why it was packed.
I’ve never been here but every time I go to a Hispanic restaurant I tend to always order the Mexican hamburger so this time I chose different and I got their fajitas 5 stars hands down soooo good it came so fast and so much food was on the skillet the steak cuts were nice and thick and the waitress was nice my dad ordered a smothered burrito he said it was pretty bomb as well the salsa was so good and fresh I will definitely have to come back
If you are looking for good atmosphere and inexpensive drinks/food, this is your place. I went here to enjoy the basketball and baseball game at the same time and I will admit they covered the place with big screen TVs. It is a good atmosphere to have work friends or a group at the bar or at a table. However if you are looking for authentic or even good tasting Mexican food, this is not your place. The food was average and mediocre at best. I really wanted to love the Carne Asada shredded chicken french fries that I had, but everything was so bland. Even the fries weren’t even seasoned. The drinks were over sugared. The salsa was bland. Everything about the food and drinks was “ehh”.The burritos look big but they were probably not tasty. Everything looked bland on everyone’s table. Come here for good times and inexpensive drinks, not for mouth watering food.Another thing I would add is the service was also mediocre, my order initially went to the wrong person because the waiter was too busy on his phone texting. It’s the little things that I notice and will take note of.
I asked my son in law to get food for supper tonight, to surprise me and my daughter. He chose URBAN SOMBRERO and I think he ordered it via Grub Hub. Everything was delicious! My daughter said it is not true Mexican, more of an Americanized version.
Amazing food. Very nice staff and good selection of beverages...margarita style. It accommodated my family of 7 on quick notice. I will be visiting this place again.
This food was absolutely amazing!! My wife and I are here in Denver visiting for the week and decided to order in at our hotel. We currently live in Texas and travel often, so we know quality Mexican food. We ordered the steak and chicken fajitas. The order arrived in 20 minutes fresh and hot. The steak, vegetables and chicken were seasoned to perfection and moist. If you are in the Denver area I highly recommend Urban Sombrero, you will not be disappointed !!
Came out to Denver over the weekend from Portland, Or visiting some friends. They had mentioned this place and I was not disappointed, from the food to the atmosphere it was great all around. Definitely going to come back next time I’m in Denver area.
I ordered one of the veggie options because I am vegetarian. The place was crowded and there was no place to sit, so we ordered it to go. When I picked up the order 25 minutes later, I noticed there had been a mistake and I had been given some shrimp dish. I mentioned that to the staff member and was told that I would have to wait 45 more minutes to get another dish. No apology was offered. I really got the impression that they did not care and that I should just eat this dish (that is of course subjective). They did mention I could get a refund. That seemed to be the only available option so I asked for the refund. Another issue to point out is that the staff member had refused a coupon we had obtained from a nearby hotel we were staying at, because that required manager approval and the manager was not there. Again, no apology, no sympathy, as if they didn't care. I didn't feel welcome at all. Mistakes happen, but good customer service means that you at least recognize your mistake and offer some form of compensation, and apologize on behalf of the restaurant. Getting my money back for a wrong order is the absolute bare minimum and not compensation; offering to rush my next order would have been great, and at least an apology would have been acceptable.
Overall Not Good. From the moment we stepped in the establishment the 3 young lady's were the most unpolite I've encountered. From seating people that walked in behind us,to Not cleaning any tables for the handful of patrons that were waiting for a table. All the wait staff Seemed to know a lot of the people that were being seated in front of us and the people already sitting. After 30 minutes we asked Security to speak with the manager, who came to us and said that we can sit at the High top table that was empty for 20 minutes. The Bone in chicken wings were of nice size, although Under Cooked. Then when ordering my 2nd drink I specifically watched as the waitress placed my order with the bartender only to see the young lady put a "Splash of Tito's" in my drink. When the waitress returns with the drink I ask for it to be Remade. I was told "I can go speak with the bar back about the drink".I asked to speak to the manager again, this time to show the wings and explain about what I witnessed with the making of my "Tito's and Pineapple juice. The manager then removed the drink and wings from our bill.We will Not return. Thanks Allen
