I ordered the Veggie Khao Soi with a side of fried tofu and a soft egg and with no mustard greens. Overall, the taste was very pleasant. Although there was spicy chili jam in the broth, the spiciness was barely there. Next time, I’d order a side of chili oil. The noodles were thick and chewy; they had a very nice bite to them. I don’t think this ramen hit the spot for me, but in a pinch, it’d do. The location is awesome! Plenty of bike parking with bikes parked. Plenty of foot traffic.
Amazing ramen! The staff is super friendly, too.
SOOOOO GOOD. Get the eggplant buns if you want to be a happy guy or gal. Veggie ramen had a lot of depth and the atmosphere was festive.
Ramen saves. Undoubtedly the most loved Ramen in all of Denver and surrounding areas. A cult following. Make sure you try the spicy chicken Ramen or the pork Ramen with kimchi. They are also famous for their steamed buns. Lively and fun youthful atmosphere, always playing the best rap & hip hop music.
Very solid ramen at Uncle. The Khao Soi ramen was an absolute revelation. Larb lettuce wrap app was tasty as well. Highlands location had a slightly different menu than the Wash Park location which is cool. Will definitely be back.
This place is phenomenal! The food was absolutely delicious! Caitlin was an amazing waitress! She was cute, warm and friendly and very knowledgeable about the menu. The atmosphere was hopping and the place was busy. So obviously the secret is out. The appetizers were delicious. Highly recommend the fried eggplant bun and the pork belly buns. The shrimp and the beef appetizers were fantastic. The Chashu Ramen was warm and hearty. Perfect for a cold winters evening. I'll be back!
It’s hard to do take out Ramen well but uncle does it okay. I wasn’t crazy about their broth because there was a little to no creaminess, but the flavors were good and I drank the whole bowl.
Went here with some friends because we heard it was the best ramen place. I personally wasn’t thrilled with it but my friends were. We got the duck ramen and it was pretty good. We tried their spicy sauce (which they charge $2 for and when they bring it out they recommend only using a small bit of it.. so why not bring a very small amount out and not charge $2 for it…?) the crunchy tofu was pretty good too. overall the place was very overpriced and their main seating are community tables. We got lucky and didn’t have to sit at a community table. It’s a small place so they do what they can. It was so busy on a Thursday night and they don’t take reservations and won’t seat you until your whole party is there.
The quality and presentation is superb and the atmosphere is warm and intimate. An edited menu with a good variety of traditional Asian dishes with a unique touch. You can hear and see your food being made in the open kitchen layout which gives the restaurant a feeling of friends making food for each other.Friendliest of people work here, too. Carolina, the sous chef, is creative and delightful. Our server, Kate, was very personable and a joy to be around. We had a great time - multiple staff members come up to us and made conversion.Come for the delicious asian-fusion cuisine and drinks or for the inviting atmosphere and people, just try it!
We went here last night after living in Denver for 7 years and wow - I'm super impressed! They really do have the best ramen in Denver. Also, I'd recommend the cold chicken noodle dish. You can't go wrong here but get there early so you can avoid a long wait. All of the buns were tasty too!
