Back in the day, okay, back in the 80’s when I was 20+, I enjoyed the BBQ Ribs and dining experience. My first choice when I arrived DEN was a Ted Montana steakhouse but when I arrived, I learned it was a 40 minute wait … on Tuesday night … Are you serious? I was heartbroken and very tired to wait. So, I found this Tony Romas on my path to the hotel. Let’s give it a try I said; BBQ sounds good enough. Well, to make it short, I walked into an empty large room with tables disbursed as if they were out of place and on a dance floor. No atmosphere, no decorations, or greenery (plants) to make the dining experience a pleasant one. It was just an empty wood floor of a room. Enough of the room. The service staff was pleasant and welcoming. The Baby Back Ribs I ordered were edible but nothing to scream about. I found the less-than-meaty ribs to be overcooked, with little BBQ sauce. I love sweet coleslaw but this slaw was warm and bitter. The best part of the dish was the french fries … they were hot, crispy, and seasoned perfectly. Next time, I guess I’m waiting at Ted Montana’s for a good nutritional steak. Lesson learned.
Seems to be a bit dead (at least on a Sunday night) - maybe 4 patrons. The onion-ring loaf was great. The bread was extremely hard. They have no blender for mixed drinks. The taps were out-of-order. I was told the ribs were one of their best items, and they were decent, but I've had better at some chain restaurants.
Ate their last night, first time. Wasnt sure what we would find, based from other reviews. Wasnt busy, staff standing by bar didnt really acknowlege us when we came in. Finally asked if we wanted a table or booth. Did notice a lot of tables that hadnt been cleaned yet, so did realize that they had been busy, maybe understaffed. It was around 8 pm. Server was very nice left us menus and ask what we wanted to drink. We ordered our meals and were pleasently surprised how good they actually were. My wife got chicken tenders and I got a 9 oz sirloin. My steak was excellent, only complaint the mashed potatoes were lukewarm, my wife said her meal was also good, she couldnt eat it all and took some home. Visited with server and thanked him, didnt get his name( from oklahoma) told him we enjoyed the meal and said we would come back again next time in area. I would like to try the ribs, overall good visit, I give it a 4 star. Thanks again from Wyoming.
I loved their ribs, but the peaches and blueberry cobbler was amazing!! The cobbler was worth the trip alone!
Went there on Wednesday June 9. Had the salmon. Waitress was working alone but was very nice and doing her best. Food looked OK and actually tasted ok. Woke up about 3 am sick as could be and regurgitating Salomon. NEVER AGAIN WILL I EAT THERE
in a time where some restaurants have thrown accountability for maintaining good customer serviceThat’s not the case here. Upon arrival I was greeted and treated well by Stockton and the crew enjoyed a fabulous day on the patio and the lock-in shrimp is Fa sure one of my favorites and to top it off I had been traveling for the past few days so it felt really good to set down and get treated with great service everyone deserves to be treated that way some forget others don’t Stockton is on his A-Game
Stockton was an awesome server. Polite, quick, and always attentive. The food was also amazing.
Been by several times always to find parking lot empty . Website says open all the time , any hour of the day. Called their # and the message says temporarily closed !!!
All around good experience. Not too busy, good food. Gotta try the ribs.
Management and staff were friendly and accommodating. View from the patios is great.
