Being a person who has travelled to Japan more than 20 times, I can confidently say this bakery is no inferior to any premium bakery I have been to in Tokyo! I’m pleased to know that in Denver we get this opportunity to taste such authentic and high quality Asian breads made by 職人(shokunin). Their Mixed Berries is unbeatable. Would highly recommend to everyone!
tok-YO this place offers some fantastic baked treats at reasonable prices. Came late on a Saturday and thought I might be limited to the dregs. Ended up going with the curry bun (v good), peach pastry (dynamite), and the bacon and egg (am told it was awesome as I didn’t get a bite). Will make any excuse to go back.
Popped in on a whim right after the random snow in May and the whole street was without power. They stayed open and rolled with it and were in great spirits.I had the red bean donut and WOW it was amazing! Lightly sugared and plenty of filling. The iced matcha latte was really good too. Nice atmosphere and really good prices!Definitely recommend stopping in if you’re in the beautiful neighborhood.
So well executed and very Japanese indeed. If you have been to Japan and are craving the real deal stop by here. Matcha cream bun and red bean bun are delicious. Coffee is wonderful. Beef Curry bun and their little sandwiches are next on my hit list. Prices are incredibly fair for the quality you are getting.
Wow, this place is amazing and economical. All the products are within the range of 3 to 6$, not hurting the wallets.Depending on the day and time there maybe a line so be prepared for that.As a suggestion, I wish they add Japanese cheesecake and maybe a baked version of beef curry.
We had the best pastries here. The donut is so fluffy and light… a delight.Matcha is great and they have all mills available
This place is a must when you're in Denver, they are open for dine in right now and you need to wait outside for your turn to order, the place dont have a sign so you will really have to look for the building number, we visited on a snowy day and it was really cold to wait outside but as soon as i tasted their food I thought waiting a little bit in the cold is worth it, I ordered different things to go, Red Bean bun, Almond Crossaint, Tuna Bun, Peach Danish and custard donuts. Prices is a little high compared to other bakeries I had been, their pastries and bread are ranging from $2.50 - $6.00, I microwaved the custard donut to warm it up a little bit and oh boy it's real good. I also like the fact that they are open early at 6am and closes at 4pm, it is a popular place so i think regardless of the weather you would have to wait in line for a bit. I wish they would sell Japanese jiggly cheesecake too. [email protected]
The banana chocolate pastry had way to rip of bananas. Tasted a bit sour. The chocolate sunrise was a strange combo of bread with crisp cookie like exterior texture but soft bread inside. Not very good.
I've been to this bakery a handful of times and have tried many of their pastries. I've never had one I didn't enjoy! The staff are always helpful and friendly as well. It's easily my favorite pastry shop in Denver and I cant recommend it enough.
High quality pastries, not too sweet. And good service, clean shop. I was expecting to find more of Japanese famous desserts. To have more options, make sure to visit them early in day or play orders over phone.
