This was my first time visiting Denver and decided to stop by to grab a bite yesterday, and I just wanted to say that I LOVED it! Since I had never been to thirsty lion my kind waiter Mauricio recommend the chicken avocado sandwich and I have to say it was delicious! I would totally come back here again and ask for Mauricio. I think he truly made the experience at thirsty lion even better. He was kind, attentive, and welcoming to not just me but to all of the tables he was serving. I would love to go back and have him as my server. Sending love from Dallas, TX!

Great burgers, nice drink selection.

Great location and spacious restaurant with plenty of outside tables as well. Definitely a more sports bar vibe, but not in your face, so our business lunch worked out great. Exceptional service, good food, nice comprehensive menu. It was my friend's recommendation so I hadn't been there in a while. Will definitely go back. great place for a team meal or celebration

Ok so I really looked forward to my first visit here. Menu looked very eclectic with I love in a restaurant. We started with the baked pretzel which was delish. Comes with 3 dipping sauces, Dijon mustard, a chili jam, and beer cheese, 2 were fabulous beer cheese not so much but I'm sure it's a personal taste preference. I had the jalapeño pepper jack burger and it was very good throughly enjoyed it while my wife had the Tuscan Chicken which to our surprise said pan seared but it was very thin sliced chicken breast which wasn't grilled it was breaded. Would have preferred it grilled and thick n juicy but overall flavor was good but still a let down. The hostesses were fabulous it was a busy Tuesday and they were not only seating g but buying tables and they were really hustling with I was impressed with. Our server seemed disinterested, even when she seen my wife couldn't eat the chicken because it was breaded and she immediately asked for a box and a menu and the server never once asked if anything was wrong nor did she return to ask if she would she like to order something else since she asked for a menu. I will just take it as maybe she was having a tough night and will return and still gave a 4 star however my thought it this restaurant could easily turn into a 5 in my next visit which I will absolutely try again.

Great scene great service will be back!

We had the worst experience ever. Our server probably made our experience really upsetting. She made me feel awful somehow for being gluten-free and dairy-free and rushed us while ordering plus was so rude. Will not be going back to Thirsty Lion ever again because of the service. The water jar was filthy sadly. My steak was ice cold and had to be sent back. They re-did it for me but the veggies were limp and so soggy. Inedible. My partner constantly had to ask our server to refill his coke. She was not paying attention sadly. The Brussels sprouts and burger were lovely as were the chicken tenders.

Thirsty Lion had been on our list for a while and always seemed to be busy, must be a great place right? Not so much. Four of us dined here for dinner for the first time on Friday, July 8th. We had a reservation, but decided upon arrival to sit at the bar (most would think service would be better at the bar, more efficient, ya know?)Our first unpleasant encounter was when another server dumped a beer in the sink near where we were sitting, which splashed into one of our beverages and all over the bar.The second, was when we noticed a cracked glass on one of our drinks. We brought this up to the bartender, who quickly poured it into another glass (which was our suggestion as we didn't want to wait for another drink to be made).Overall, the food we had this evening was great, however, the overall service experience for what we were expecting was lackluster.Lastly, the bartender who had been serving us most of the evening, must have reached the end of their shift, as they disappeared without notice. Thankfully, the bartender taking over this section was accommodating and attentive, which was appreciated towards the end of our dining experience here.Again, we were looking forward to checking out this place, but this overall experience was subpar.

This restaurant is officially my family’s and I favorite place to eat at. The food is delicious, the service was perfect. The waiter that served us has very good customer service (I wish I knew his name, he wears glasses) he is amazing and friendly. Friendly service like his makes customers have an amazing experience eating here. He made everything perfect for my family and me. Can’t wait to go back again. Great service and delicious food.

We had a great brunch at Thirsty Lion on Sunday! There were many choices from eggs any style, burritos, omelettes and more! Affordable, fast and very good! Will definitely be back!

Loved sitting outside with a view of the fountain. Good food. Kind waiter, he did a good job of being attentive without being tooooo attentive. They were out of the fried chicken Mac n cheese - how do you run out? Especially when there are other mac options. Anyways had the spicy Mac n cheese, pretty decent. Pork ramen bowl huge and tasty.
