Great bar! Rooftop has misters to keep you cool, drinks are good and reasonably priced.
The burrito is very good. Bravo on tasty green chili!! I may try another visit. Hopefully, there won't be 2 simultaneous massive parties stressing the staff.
Food is surprisingly good for a college dive. Drinks are beer, margs, tequila, and mixed drinks, though service does rounds frequently, so your glass won’t stay dry for long. You will be attended to every five minutes, but that’s not a detriment. You'll get your booze and a burrito when you need it. Definitely check out the awesome rooftop (with its own bar!) on a nice day. It’s spacious, breezy, and the company is good. Again, the food is surprisingly good. Don't pass on it for a lunch option.
Bummer - this place used to be such a gem. The food was good, the bartenders were quick, and the prices were fine. It seems like over the past few months something has happened - the food quality is way worse (the nachos that used to have all of the toppings on each chip are just burnt sour cream nachos now) and they took some good stuff off of the menu. They removed all of the menus and community posters from the wall and posted huge signs everywhere about only ordering from the bar. The bartenders are always understaffed and stressed nowadays, too! We went in tonight and it took us 15 minutes to order drinks via the line and my burrito came out of the kitchen after over 30 minutes. The bartender was doing his best (the kitchen runners were, too) but everyone was clearly so overwhelmed. I know this is “just a college bar” but it used to be SO much better - someone fix it!
I have been incredibly disappointed by the management and slow downhill spiral of this bar. They recently fired their best bartender for “stealing” when it was abundantly clear that I had told her to adjust our check because the GM poured us the wrong drinks. The GM, who is constantly here drinking or drunk and picking fights with patrons. They have slowly phased out all of their bartenders who actually care about the establishment and knew what they were doing, and replaced them with people who continue to mess up drinks/orders. Used to be a regular here along with all of my friends, but I’ll happily go elsewhere. So sad. Oh and the queso hardens into a brick.
Don’t listen to Maddie. Nobody insulted at anybody. Because that’s not a sentence. This place rocks. Clientele could use a lesson in maturity but otherwise great staff and cheap drinks
My family I stopped here for a late dinner and we ordered a kids chicken quesadilla for my 6-year-old son. There was hardly any chicken on it and they charged $15 for it!At any other restaurant this would have been about a $6 item we will not be returning!
Do not go here. Absolutely ridiculous. All of my guy friends out got kicked out and did not acknowledge me while we were all sitting at a table talking. He grabbed my friends drink and threw it as they were walking out while I continued to sit at the table. He continued yelling at all my friends and put his hands up like he was going to fight them. My friends went outside and he continued to yell at them. Two additional guys joined the one who kicked us out. They yelled inappropriate things and insulted at my friends as they were leaving. Called my friends multiple slurs as they were trying to leave outside. They stopped yelling at my friends when I asked what was going on. After I advocated for my friends, one of them shoved me. The shorter, blonde guy was the one pushed me. They pushed my other guy friend and threw his sunglasses into the street. Extremely disrespectful and will not be going back.
Online menu isn't accurate. Expect 2-5 extra dollars on top of what is listed. While their margs are salty ? theyre only 5 on happy hour and get you buzzed.I'm not sure how to reply to you. But nope. No salt on the rim ❤️
Really cool bar, really cool atmosphere. I got the chicken nachos which I later learned are award winning! They were AMAZING! You get a bite of everything in every bite! Service was great! Bartenders are sweet!
