We always going there to dance and enjoy time off. It's amazing dancing place filled with happy dancing people. Life music is always there and bartenders work so hard, by the end of the evening you can see their tired faces? RAISE THEM PAYS FOR BARTENDERS! They deserve this!!! DJ need to stop playing Taylor Swift lol Over all, we love the place!!!
Really enjoyed our evening here! Live band on stage, billiards tables and other games, mechanical bulls, and a large dance floor. Long bar with at least 3 or 4 registers, and food options also available. The place also offers lessons and regular concerts! Note, there are entrances on both sides of the building, as well as a large parking lot in the back.
Super fun vibe and especially fun to go on Thursday’s when girls drink for free. However, there is a $10 cover per person so that’s important to note. Such a fun time though every time I’ve been. Only thing I wish they would change is the music, I wish there was somewhat of a variety and also wish the band played longer. Last time I was there the band would only play around 2 or 3 songs and then take a break it was a little strange.
Go for the two stepping lessons on Wednesdays… and live music every night of the week! I've never had a bad time at the grizzly Rose, in fact it's my happy place. A very family oriented establishment, all walks of life, all ages... everyone is welcome.
This was my first time at Grizzle Rose in Denver. I was super excited to learn line dancing. To say the least I was not satisfied with the staff or the bouncer/ manger. When I walked in they checked for my ID and placed it underneath the black light. The staff gave me a wrist band and sent me on my way. I ordered a beer with the first bartender and had no problem. I went back to get another round and the male bartender thought my ID was a fake. The manger/bouncer came to escort me to the bathrooms where I was cornered by him and two other male staff members. The bouncer kept talking into a mic saying “dispatch”. They wouldn’t let me leave the restrooms area until they came back to confirm I was 21. They took off my wrist band and said they couldn’t serve me at this time, which I understood. To say the least no man or women should be escorted to the bathrooms to be confronted. I felt very uncomfortable in this situation to say the least. Toward the end of the night I was getting ready to leave. When the bouncer/manager comes directly towards me saying he’s going to place my first an last name on a list to see if I ever come back to Grizzle Rose. Please beware of your surroundings and looking back I should’ve called the cops due to the situation I was placed in.
Lots of seating and large dance floor. Food choices are slim, but it’s fun to go watch people dance and hear live music.
Atmosphere is relaxed and vibrant at the same time. They offer dance classes early in the evenings and have 2 mechanical bulls later in the evening most nights. Bar tenders are quick and courteous. Drinks are fairly priced and taste great. There is tons of bar space, even in the busiest nights. Tables near us were consistently cleaned and pool tables are in good condition. Overall a pretty fantastic country bar vibe.
Tight and friendly (barring one person) darts available. Fun interior and reasonably priced drinks for that part of town. Music isn't so low as to be unheard but not so loud as to be unable to hear your compatriots.
