"The Ethiopian Restaurant" is a must go for anyone wanting to explore ethiopian cuisine or anyone looking for an ethiopian place to become a regular at.The food is super tasty and extremely extremely affordable! It's always so hard to choose a favorite thing on the menu. The meats are marinated to perfection and the injera has the satisfying texture of spongy yet slightly crispy on the sides. The vegetarian options are also very flavorful. I am so happy that they reopened after the height of the pandemic. We will be returning again and again!
I really like the family style sharing concept. You get a big giant plate of food vegetarian and meat. They have a variety of different flavors for each dish. My favorite was the spicy lamb. Even the veggies like cabbage and potatoes had really good flavor. If I lived here I would eat this all the time! Will definitely be back when I visit Denver.
It's my first time Ethiopian food experience and I really enjoyed the food here. Everything was flavorful and tasty. Services were great too. I'll definitely go back again and again ?
The first time I went there a couple of years ago, the food was absolutely incredible; the spices and portions were perfect. The second time, I got similar food and it was not as flavorful and the portions were definitely smaller, sadly. The server was kind and the honey wine was delicious, though! Would go back again, for sure.

Truly a hidden gem in the middle of Denver. The food is absolutely incredible no matter what you order. If you're looking for something a little different to mix up date night, this is the place to go. Our waiter was very friendly and had excellent recommendations.
Amazing. Sooo incredibly delicious, you really can’t go wrong with what you order. I live 2.5 hours away in a rural area and my boyfriend and I talk about this food at least once a week. I can’t say enough great things about place. I hope they continue to be supported so they can share this wonderful food with the community for many, many, years to come. Last time we ate here they were cash only, but I can confirm that this time around they take credit. If you’re on the fence about coming here and are reading reviews trying to decide where to go, take this as your sign to choose this place. I guarantee you’ll choose it over and over again.
