Great dim sum. We even went after the lunch rush and still got plenty of great food. Also the wait staff and servers there are great. They explain the dishes to you (if you don’t know what they are) and will also offer to bring you others that aren’t on the carts if you want them. This is one of the best places for dim sum that my wife and I have been to so far.
This place is so awesome! The food is so good and the staff are very helpful and friendly. It's hard to decide what to choose because everything I've had has been so delicious! We showed up on the evening of Lunar New Year, after the crowds had come through, and they were still able to get us tons of food! The prices are very reasonable for the amount of food you get too. We've been back once in the last month and will be back again!
I got take out dim sum from here for the first time and was thoroughly impressed and surprised. The dim sum was authentic and tasty. The restaurant was very clean and reminded me of dim sum restaurants back home on the East coast. The dim sum was large and they didn't skimp on the shrimp and other fillings. I will definitely be back again!
The best dim sum experience I've ever had. The food was wonderful, especially the steam bbq pork buns, but the staff really made the experience. I have visited other dim sum restaurants and I can say the Empress staff is wonderful, attentive and always takes the time to explain the dish. The pricing is also great! We spent $60 for 2 people and we added duck and the house soup! It was great and I can't wait to return.
Me and some friends were visiting Denver and stopped in for some delicious dim sum. The owner served us and he was super friendly. We ordered so many food that we had enough to take home after. They have the best crispy pork belly that I have ever had in my life. I am Vietnamese/Chinese American. Taking a few first bites, I could cry because it reminded me of my family’s traditional cooking. We were very happy that we stopped in. I can see that reading some of the negative reviews that others left behind, they were coming to eat the wrong things. It’s like going to a fancy restaurant and ordering chicken strips and fries. This is a dim sum restaurant. So don’t expect to get Panda Express fried rice and crab rangoons here! This is not your typical fast food Chinese restaurant. This place has quality dim sum! I would come back here whenever we visit again. 10 stars from me!
Dim sum here is so good! Staff is very attentive to customer needs. Very delicious food.
Loved the DimSum. Great restaurant!!!
I love me some dim sum. This has been a favorite spot for me since moving to Denver 8 years ago. If you venture out a little bit outside of downtown of Alameda and Federal - You can fine all day dim sum The Empress Seafood Restaurant in Denver. Carts of delicious dumplings make their way around the restaurant, with friendly waitstaff. There is hardly ever a wait here, unlike some of the other popular spots nearby. My favorite little secret ? today I went with friends for a Monday brunch ?
I was first impressed by the menu, it is similar to a typical Dim Sum restaurant in Hong Kong and Asia. But, taste wise not exactly as it has been localized with added sweetness and using different ingredients. Anyway, the price wise it is competitive.
Best dim sum in Denver! The place doesn't look like much, but it will blow your mind. The staff are all super friendly and helpful, literally everything is good, you could pretty much just point at something on the menu with your eyes closed and it would be great. Definitely will be going back!
