Righteous place. One of the best in the world. No hyperbole, just come and check it out. Great service, amazing food and great portion size. You won’t leave hungry. Charlie was awesome, thank you.
Yeah this is the real deal. I tumbled onto this place by accident when I first moved to Denver because I had a hankering for apple strudels, and I’ve been a regular ever since. This was before I knew what Diner Driveins and Dives was; so about 2 years ago.#5 (pastrami and chopped liver) with potato salad and a cup of matzo ball soup is my go-to. It’s like three meals worth so there’s no need to eat for the rest of the day after one of these. The pastrami is absolutely tender and juicy, and the chopped liver is creamy, earthy and continues to be one of the most underrated items. The triple D sampler is also quite good, interesting, and filling. On the bakes, making apple strudels at home is a strenuous process so I rely on these guys for my cravings. They do a pretty good job.Really glad this exists in Denver.
Great deli sandwiches, bagels and matzo ball soup. We were dine in and loves to picking up bags of bagels, eggs salad, lix cream cheese home to continue our meal feast. Family friendly place and friendly stuff.
Just stopped in here to fuel up before a hike. We ordered the Triple D plate, a corned beef & egg salad, a Reuben, and a bagel with lox & cream cheese. Everything was excellent and service was great. Our waitress even sent us off with some ice to keep our leftovers cool. Makes me wish I lived in Denver so I could visit more than once!
Incredible food at both the restaurant and deli side of this establishment! We love pastrami Ruben sandwiches. The meat is so fresh here and the portion size is great for the price! Absolutely Recommend ????? Customer service and staff are incredible as well!
This place is fire!! I stopped by this morning for the first time and got an everything bagel with cream cheese and lox. The person who helped me was very friendly and courteous. I will definitely be back!
Wonderful homemade food, and a great deli. We've been driving up from Colorado Springs for over 20 years and have never been disappointed when stopping in The Bagel for whatever reason. We've had many meals here, and always take home extra items from the deli. The staff is friendly and helpful whatever your needs, and we've never had reason to complain about any food served on their extensive menu. Sandwiches are well proportioned, and almost always leave you with a bit to bring home for that late snack. We have visited several other places from Colorado Springs to Denver in the past, but none had the variety of foods, or quality of The Bagel. We recommend it highly to our friends and family.
What an authentic place. Loved everything food wise and the fun service. Well recommended.
A bit hard to find, but TOTALLY worth the effort. Gigantic sandwiches and delicious pastries. Luckily I don't live in Denver, else I would weigh 500 pounds. ?
I first moved to Colorado Springs from the D.C. area in 1970. I craved a Deli where I could get some good Jewish cuisine and discovered The Bagel through the recommendations of friends. It was a new place in Denver, but I regularly drove up from the Springs to get my east coast fix. I remember when it was the first place in Colorado that offered the unique treat of frozen yogurt. Again, up to Denver I went. I have many fond memories of eating there with friends and family. Thank you.
