Love this place! They're convenient, fast, and have good food. You order at the counter and there is a salsa bar in the middle with a variety of salsas, pico, pickled onions, etc. The tacos are some of the best in the area and they have 2 dollar breakfast burritos (and not just eggs and potatoes)! You can't really beat that.
You order individual tacos from a large selection of meats (including tongue) or vegetarian. They are soft flour, about 4" diameter. They have a salsa bar where you can select the kind you want. And a soda fountain for drinks.Sign states max capacity at 70. We were the only guests at the time. Clean, contemporary with a TV on one wall.Walking distance from the DU campus.Friendly, clean & fast.
AMAZING AND DELICIOUS TACOS!!! I would say it’s in the TOP 5 in Denver! I got the fish and steak taco. The fish was super crispy outside and soft inside. The steak was not chewy and it was tender. They also have a salsa bar. I highly recommend the pickled onions and the mild avocado salsa! They completed the tacos really well. The staff members are super friendly!Cost: $3.00-4.00 per taco, depending on the meatParking: parking is a little difficult. You have to find metered parking or park in the streets in the neighborhood and walk over!I will definitely go back for more of these tacos.
Best tacos in denver have been found!! It’s hard finding a good vegan taco that’s not beans or mushrooms, but behold vegan taco meat on authentic street style tacos… to die for. And a salsa bar with tons of add ons to customize? Go here for your next taco craving! Only wish they had some margaritas to wash them down with!
Consistently delicious and affordable! Not sure what the actual prices are because they vary depending on the taco meat. Located near DU! Been here a few times and theres always a steady flow of people.I'm a San Diego native and these are the closest i've found to carne asada friends and street tacos in San Diego/TJ. The carne fries come with cheesy nacho cheese (i LOVE) and it's extremely tasty. They have a salsa bar - the green sauce is my favorite. The mild is yummy and the hot has a smoky flavor. They have caramelized onions, pickled carrots/jalapenos, and smoked jalapeños.Quick service, good food!
This place is pretty solid. I really like the fish and shrimp tacos. Al pastor and lengua are good. The Carne asada isn't terrible, but I'm not a big fan of it. Definitely coming back for more seafood dishes.
I was in Denver for a quick weekend and wanted to get some good bites in. The first morning during this trip, we wanted to get some breakfast tacos - something more on the authentic side hopefully and not like $6 for a small bland taco like so many "fancier" places are trying to be these days. I found this place and we decided to give it a shot.Parking: We had to use street parking here. We went fairly early in the morning, but still had to make 2 or 3 circles around the block before finding a space to park. Nothing frustrates me more than driving all the way somewhere but not being able to go in because of parking. Fortunately we found a spot and it paid off!Ambiance: I didn't take any pictures, but the ambiance here was nice. Open layout, decent amount of seating, some green decor. Big windows at the entrance which allowed a lot of natural lighting. Nothing fancy, just a place to drop by for a meal.Food: Between two people, we ordered two breakfast tacos and five regular tacos to share. I was actually impressed with the portion sizes! The breakfast tacos are decently sized. The regular tacos I would say are normal sized on corn tortilla. We were both pretty stuffed by the end of the meal. What I think added authenticity and flavor to the tacos is the bar where you can grab your own salsas and toppings (pico de gallo, pickled onions, etc.), like the ones they have at more authentic/traditional taqueria. The meats in the tacos themselves were pretty flavorful as well.Service: You just order at the counter, grab your food when it's ready, self-serve the toppings and salsas, and toss your trash away on the way out. Quick and simple.Overall, I'd recommend this place. I thought it was delicious, decently priced, and was pleasantly surprised. I'm not sure how good Mexican food and tacos are in general in Denver, but I think this was a great find!
Some of the best tacos in Denver, and very well priced! I've now been 4 or 5 times, and it every single menu item has been incredible! And to top it off, the staff is super nice.
We got delivery from here. The food was super tasty and authentic. We love the spicy salsas. I was excited that they even have a delicious vegan option!! This is def our go-to mex spot moving forward.
Great authentic tasting tacos and a great location. It's hard to find "real" tacos these days, but this place has em and they are decent price too. Took my girlfriend there, crushed 10 tacos (Al pastor, lengua, tripas, carnitas, barbacoa) and they were great. Spicy salsa, quick service. What's not to like? Definitely going back as this is the closest joint to my house
