The brisket sandwich was delicious. Toss in some hot sauce and get ready for incredible. The Mac and cheese was great too. Throw hot sauce on that too and it’ll blow your mind.
Really good and tender smoked ribs. The menu is fairly simple but the challenge is to decide what and how much you think you can eat.Service was great. You order at the counter and they deliver your food to your table with a smile. You can add as much or as little BBQ sauce as you like and rolls of paper towels are at each table to help keep you from biting your fingers.The biggest issue is parking. The front lot is small and only for curbside pickup. I didn't find the parking garage until after I parked 2 blocks away. The food is worth the walk and I did need it after my meal.
Pulled pork might be a bit dry, should taste good with some BBQ sauce to moisturize it.Brisket flat meat was tasty. Being the lean side, it tasted tender.Spare ribs were fantastic. Well seasoned and cooked perfectly (I mean temperature and tenderness). The only nit could be lacking a bit smoky flavor, but I still like it.
There is a spot that is dead inside of me that might not get replaced any time soon after OwlBear BBQ just closed. So I went to try this place. I’ll start with the positives. The pork belly was quite tasty and had an amazing crunchy bark around it. The smoked wings had a really unique sauce that I was into. Like a light honey + Buffalo-ish. Not that sweet though as I’m not a sweet wing fan. The potato salad was clutch! Almost like a potato + egg salad with crispy bacon on top. Now the part I wasn’t as gung-ho about was the brisket. Just not that flavorful in my opinion. I’ll have to come back and try the burnt ends still. Overall still a good bbq spot but certainly a step below what was the best bbq in town in OwlBear (RIP).
No joke, Smok Barbecue serves up some mean BBQ eats in a space (The Source) that might seem more fit for salad and sushi. Portions are generous, meats are very nicely smoked and the sides make great compliments to an all-around good meal. . Really enjoyed the whole experience, and already looking for an excuse to return.
Amazing Brisket and burnt ends. Worth every penny. No doubt the best bbq I've ever had. Good blends of spice and no end to flavor. Burnt ends melted in my mouth and brisket was moist with a great smoke balance.
This place is absolutely delicious. Hands down one of the best BBQ restaurants I’ve been to in Denver. The brisket is amazing, and the ribs are absolutely superb. They fall off the bone, and the flavor is just incredible. The staff were also very, very nice. I’m blown away by this place and my family and I will definitely be coming back here again next time we’re in town.
Absolutely Amazing! I went in expecting it to be like most BBQ places in the colorado area. I usually go in and get whatever type of platter they have featuring all (or most) of the meats served. This place does not have that. Nor do they offer a military discount like all of the other locations in Denver. However, everything I tried was cooked to absolute perfection. The fat was rendered perfectly to the point that it melted in your mouth. The brisket was seasoned fantastically and had amazing flavor, the only complaint I have about anything is that while not dry, the brisket was a little tough. The pork belly was incredible, and the pulled pork is by far my favorite of any place in Denver. It tastes in my opinion like a mix of Kansas city style and South Carolina style pulled pork and is a must get. The burnt ends surprisingly are not served with sauce as most places traditionally do however words don't do them justice. Cooked and seasoned perfectly, they just fall apart. If you're thinking twice about going here don't, you won't regret it.
The best chicken sandwich I've had in awhile, perhaps ever. The chicken is perfectly fried, and the ginger coleslaw helps cut the spice. Their housemade pickles are fantastic.
Definitely my top 3 on best Bbq ever!!! Everything was so perfect. Fries were seasoned very well. I need that seasoning!! I wished they sold it. Lol So so sad we won’t be coming back since we live in Georgia. Everything was so delicious and service was super fast. We can’t wait to come back!!
