Easy to see why they're award-winning! Stopped in for lunch when there was a pretty long line. You order at the counter and can select from any of the pizzas on display or order from the menu. We tried slices of the Alla Vodka and White Pie NY style pizzas as well as a slice of the Grandma pizza and garlic knots. Everything tasted fresh and flavorful. The sauces really stood out, both the vodka sauce and the marinara that came with the garlic knots. The crust of the Grandma pizza was crispy on the outside and soft inside. We will definitely be back to try more! Don't pass this place up!
I've become addicted to their stuffed meat slice of pizza. I typically get 2 sides of sauce to pour over the top, and douse it with a hefty amount of parmesan cheese and Italian seasonings. Of course, knife and fork are necessary. It's soooo good, and even after a generous tip It's under $10, which I feel is a good pricepoint. I wish I could control myself better and take some home since I'm usually full well before I've finished it, but I just....can't....stop...need...one more bite. Next thing I lnow, it's gone.
I’ve been here a few times. A solid slice. Lots of interesting varieties, although I stick with pepperoni. The staff could be a little more attentive, at times they ignore customers when they are talking to each other.
Friendly staff and really good pizza. Ordered a whole pie and we demolished it! Being from out of state we wanted something we couldn't get at home it was really good and worth the walk into downtown.
Good stuff! I got the stuffed meat pizza and my wife got the white sauce pizza. The stuffed meat pizza is very filling! Both are very good! We also got some mozzarella sticks to share. Those were good but the pizza was better! Great staff!
We did a pizza tasting from several places and the jalapeño popper pizza from here was an easy favorite. The staff was super nice. It’s also great to be able to get a variety of slices. They have some fun sodas here and the birch beer was my favorite. The green Chile was not the one we were expecting but still good. I liked the mural when you walk in.
Coming from living in the northeast and now living in Denver. Slice works is some good pizza! Definitely our go to for pizza! The Sicilian pizza is great. The garlic knots are great! Resturant is clean. And service is super friendly.
I had the jalapeno popper slice and it was an amazing combination for a pizza. Very spicy and great touch of sweet with some jam. My son at the entire pepperoni slice and a garlic knot. Great environment too.
My mother wanted pizza so we came here; I am so happy we did! The pizza slices are a good size, not GIANT but not tiny. They're also super flavorful! I had the stuffed meats and would 10/10 recommend! The ambiance is casual and laid back, and a great place for people watching. I will definitely be back for another slice!
Spur of the moment visit unplanned. Probably a score of pizza pies of various toppings ready for a slice to be warmed up to accommodate a large variety of tastes. Good customer service, timely attention to our needs. Pizza was excellent for Denver standards (but no pizza beats NYC pizza, especially by the slice, ever!). On street parking only.
