Normal dive bar, they have karaoke every last Thursday or Tuesday? of the month. They have an upstairs from the back left corner of the bar, sometimes they have live music, djs, etc up there. They do have a second bar up there as well. There's normally not many people upstairs though, even when there's a band/dj/etc.
The revived and reopened Skylark is great. Attractive, refreshed, a great space. DJ downstairs, live music upstairs, and great beers on tap in both locations.
Enjoyed a really wonderful night with warm and kind people while en route from Chicago to California on the California Zephyr train. Kim & Ashley (?) were wonderful and authentic human beings who genuinely love the neighborhood and the establishment. Felt more like a family than a workplace. Thanks for making it a fun evening.
Used to be an awesome dive bar but it's gone way down hill. If you like watered down drinks and Kid Rock wannabe bartenders, this is the place to go.

What a great place...good drinks and great service. The space upstairs for bands is cool!
Staff is great but welcome to LoDo South. $5 for a lone star and $7 for a rum/coke, no longer a dive.
