The food was good. The service was very slow for a group of 20 people. They should have started bringing out some dishes dishes earlier instead of waiting until every single dish was completed and then bringing them all out together. It definitely required 2 hours for the lunch. Again, the food was good and it might be better for smaller groups or just a small family but they don't manage large groups well.
In Denver for business. Came to this restaurant on a whim, having never tried Persian food. It was absolutely delicious! The staff were very friendly, the atmosphere/ambiance was elegantly upscale without being over-the-top. I had the Koobideh and it was 10/10. Definitely recommend checking this place out for lunch or dinner!
Food was great! I truly enjoyed every bite of my Barg kabob. And super friendly people…I highly recommend this place.
Absolutely incredible food. Amazing service as well. Will definitely visit here anytime we’re in Denver.
Excellent authentic Persian food. Best in Denver, by my experience. Have been here several times. Had some pressure under COVID but is bouncing back beautifully. The food is fresh, delicious, and the owners are gracious and kind.Highly recommend! Everything on the menu is worth a taste.
First time to try Shondiz and Persian food in general, AND WOW GREAT INTRODUCTION, nice to meet you! Very much enjoyed everything from the sides (excellent hummus and falafel), mains (very tasty chicken and fluffy rice), and even the very unique rose-flavored lemonade. YUM! Service was also good ??
My first time experiencing Persian food which our waiter knew. Recommended a beef stew with greens for a beginner. This was definitely NOT a beginner's choice. I asked questions and kept getting being told a "stew", so I wasn't expecting a bitter green mix with one tiny piece of meat, a huge pile of rice and nothing else. I also ordered as an appetizer some hummus which was not nearly as good as some commercial hummus. My employer is Lebanese and his wife makes some excellent hummus, so you can imagine my disappointment. My friends, who are familiar with Persian cuisine ordered a ground hamburger kabob, which came with a grilled tomato and rice. Should have followed their lead, but my friend who lived in the middle east for some years thought it was a good choice. We had a yogurt and shallots dip that was good.
I always enjoy tasting new food from around the world and I liked this establishment. Always make sure to support local businesses!
Fantastic food, excellent price, the kebob was healthy (low salt , butter on the side) the rice was done in perfection and the yoghurt was great too.
The food was great but,I give them 2 star because the customer service was poor I ask them to go box the guy gave me this ?
