Another great meal at Shanahanâs! We were promptly seated and had great service throughout our courses. The Sommelier had an excellent wine pairing for us and the staff were fun and courteous. The food is amazing and the staff work hard to make sure you get what you want. Celebrating my sonâs birthday meant we went all in on the best cuts, sides and dessert, got exactly that, the best, and left without a care or want in the world.
Everything from the bread to the steaks were way over salted. Potatoes were under cooked and the service was just okay. This was a totally different experience than our past visits. Mentioned on the reservation and to the waiter we were celebrating my wifeâs birthday. Not one bit of recognition. Not sure if we will be back given the cost and really being mediocre.
This was our first time here. We had looked at the menu online so were prepared for the prices. Our server, Seth, was outstanding! I noticed a couple times as he passed our table he would glance at ours , I'm guessing to see how we were doing with our meal. One mix-up was when I ordered the two crab cake entree, he took it to mean I wanted 2 orders of the two crab cake entree. No worries, they were delicious and we brought the other two home. ( We had a substantial gift certificate so that eased the blow of another $45. My wife had the Sea Scallops which were also delicious. The escargot and the lobster bisque were excellent. Yes, we had all seafood at a steakhouse! Their website states dress business casual, but most of the men were either wearing polos and blue jeans or t-shirt and shorts. Kind of off putting. But I guess anymore to get people to dress up, it's either an invite to the White House or high tea with the Queen of England. Music could have been a little lower (but at least it drowned out conversations from other tables) and maybe some softer rock. But overall, it was an enjoyable evening. Added note: I was so pleased when our server, Seth, asked if I was finished dining on my lobster bisque as opposed to "Are you still working on that?!" A pet peeve of mine. Be prepared to spend around $75-$100 per person.
Amazing food and service. Peppercorn crusted steak was awesome! Mike was in the house!!! Great night.
Our server John was awesome. He was very knowledgeable of the menu and very attentive. This was my familyâs first visit to Shanahanâs and it was a great awesome experience. We will definitely be back in the future.
Food was terrific. Our server Chris rocked. His recommendations were spot on.
Shanahan's is possibly the best steakhouse in Denver. The food is excellent and everything is good. Save room for desert, because the raspberry sauce covered cheesecake is the best! Papy is by far and away the best Server you'll ever find.
Very warm atmosphere. My son commented that all of the waiters were attractive. That made me laugh, but it's true.
Per the usual, Shanahan's Steakhouse was phenomenal for our large group birthday celebration. Our server was over-the-top fantastic and the food was wonderful.
Food and ambiance good as always. The service, however, was truly outstanding and made us all feel special and valued.
