Cool whiskey bar. Huge selection of whiskeys to try. No prices listed on their online menus. Lots of dark wood and a couple pool tables and a decent sized patio. Good service. The only thing I thought out of place was the music was a bit loud for the size of the place and the amount of people trying to talk to each other. The patio was ok to escape that.
I’d probably pay seven grand for some of their drinks… pretty great place, lovely atmosphere and I really liked the menu. Also it’s in a cool little area of Denver. Check it out after a game!
For this place to be just a whiskey bar, I ad a really good time. Great drinks, good vibes, good music and if you can get one, they also have pool tables!
This is a great place to try a wide array of whiskeys. The staff is knowledgeable and if you go early (before the younger crowd comes), you can find a good whiskey fit after talking with a bartender. They have some really rare whiskeys too. Prices for these may be high, $65+ per 1oz pour, but where else would you get the opportunity to try something so unique. On top of the normal selection of Bourbon, Rye, and Scotch, they have a wide selection of Japanese whiskey and international options (e.g., Italy, France, Taiwan). I highly recommend this for the connoisseur.
Might be the best and the best looking mint julep I've ever had! Really beautiful and dark environment, loved the goose, bear, Buffalo, elk, etc game on the walls. And the bathroom decor was entertaining.
Unique atmosphere where you can buy a bottle of bourbon/whiskey and keep it in a locker. Great bartender and craft cocktails. The decor is very masculine and lounge feeling with leather sofas and chairs. Made me crave a cigar although they don't have that. Two pool tables and great music. Stays open until 2am. I preferred the happy hour crowd and atmosphere best for the business crowd.
Amazing whiskey/bourbon selection and very skilled bartenders. The building is very awesome, almost has a British pub/bar feel to it. One of my favorite places to have cocktails and whiskey neat.
I'd like to preface by saying that this isn't whisky related which is what this bar is known for. Anyways the bartender was nice enough but my issue is actually with the beer I was served. I ordered a Guinness and I'm by no means a really picky person but Guinness is something that is a bit tough for most people to master in terms of how it's served. I ordered two, one from each bartender and unfortunately both served to me didn't have a creamy head and were a bit watery tasting. I would hope this review gets to them and maybe they could watch a video on how it's properly served. Other than this the bar was very nice and nothing to complain about outside of that.
Great atmosphere, fantastic bartenders, 80s music
New favorite bar in Denver and one of the best I've ever been to. I dislike 90-95% of bars due to immature behavior from some young adults but Seven Grand has the highest quality demographic. The people are awesome including the bartenders of course and the atmosphere is classy and mature. I feel comfortable compared to a lot of other styles of bars where I don't care for the vibe. The music is better than most places and its at the perfect volume. The lighting is great for the setup and for creating a nightlife atmosphere. There is always a reasonable amount of people in terms of volume. Not too crowded but never dead. So glad this spot exists near where I live and work!
