Great sushi, reasonable prices.
Recently moved to this prt of town, and I was worried when I tried a sushi place off Broadway which I will not name. I was relieved after trying this spot because it does all of my favorites in very elegant. Modest prices, nice happy hour
The Samurai and Yellowtail Roll are heavenly. I haven't had sushi this fresh with extraordinary service in a long. My 10 year old had the California Roll and they topped it off with some tempura flakes which elevated the textures quite nicely. My 9 year old had the pork fried rice which was seriously out of this world! The pork was smoky and flavorful.Enjoy!
Overall a decent sushi restaurant. Fish were fresh and the rice was super moist and delicious. They had an average menu selection to choose from. I went during lunch so there wasn’t a crowd, we were sat right away and taken care of immediately by the friendly staff. We also ordered the fried rice and ramen. The ramen broth was just very salty, maybe it was sitting on heat too long it got salty. Fried rice is just as you expect from any good restaurant. For a very slow afternoon, the restroom were not fully stocked. Both restrooms are unisex and one restroom did not have paper towels. Otherwise, everything was pretty clean and tidy. The parking lot out back is very tight and a nightmare. They share their rear parking with Grease Monkey. You can also do street parking. This is all expected due to location of the facility.4/5 stars for first time experience5/5 for atmosphere and friendly staff5/5 stars for sushi & fried rice2/5 stars for the ramen3/5 parking, that is to be expected downtownMaybe I will give it another try in the future, but not something I’d go out of my way for.
I'm not usually one for sushi, but this place blew me out of the water. The service was great, the sushi was good, and apparently they fly in fish from Tokyo every day. Quite expensive, but very good place for dinner. The servers were kind, and everything was pretty good.
Chill & laid back vibe with friendly staff and super reasonable prices. Everything was delicious (smoked salmon sashimi, spicy edamame, seaweed salad, and firecracker roll)
Delicious sushi and such friendly staff! Our waitress was so kind and everyone who helped us was great. The inside is super modern and clean, and they have a nice patio for outdoor dining too.We got the Red Dragon, Lava Roll, and Orengi rolls. 10/10!!
Loved the place, the food and the service! Highly recommended! Their happy hour is amazing!
My son and I came to Denver from out of town, and found Rocky Yama Sushi--"yama" meaning "mountain"; very cleverly named--a reasonable drive from the Denver Art Museum, which we had just visited. If we're in town again, we'll come here again. The sushi was great and the staff friendly. The nigiri (rice) part of the sushi was on the smaller side; we happen to like that as there is relatively more of the fish taste to enjoy.
Sushi was amazing, customer service was even better. Highly Recommended!
