wanted a quiet place for a business meeting. Perfect experience!

We had a lovely dinner at Rioja. Everything we had was delicious and service was good. You can tell there was a lot of thought and care behind each dish. They delivered on perfectly executed food with nice flavor profiles.

Food was very good. Not offered bread - bread server offered to guests to immediate left and right. Not offered dessert menu. My dinner partner waiting to use restroom was asked by a bread person if she wanted a roll the restaurant couldn’t sell. Weird! Why ask at all? Even if wanted it she was going into restroom. Weird!

Love this place! This time, we got extra special service from a delightful young man, Tarius... It was a pleasure to ve served by him. Thank you!

Our server was great but the overall dining experience was very poor. Here are the major issues: 1. Tasting menu reduced to 4 courses (used to be 5-7) with half size portions but at a price that is higher than ordering full size portions individually. Makes zero sense. 2. The halibut was vile. 3. The barutta was mediocre and the garnish pairings, which used to be such a strong suit, weren't well suited aside from the orange. 4. The rabbit pasta dish was lukewarm. 5. The after-dinner coffee was room temperature. I have had transcendent meals here before but if this is the direction they are going under new management, this was my last visit.

We were there for our anniversary

Our waiter, Joe did a great job. Food was spectacular

We shared several appetizers. The smoked burrata, campache, were both playful on the palate wirh beautiful presentation. But the bacon appetizer with is actually braised pork belly, really no bacon qualities at all was flavorful served in a rich broth with a bean puree was rather one dimentional in flavor. The 2 pasta courses ... artichoke tortelini was sublime...outstanding and delicious! The spring risotto was exellently prepared and had great flavor. Entrees: the tri-tip and pork chop had very good flavor and were very tender. But the octopus stood above the rest with artistic presentation, excellent preparation and exciting taste. Desert however, sadly was a letdown. While the peanut butter tart was good, the lemon blueberry dessert was completely lacking in execution...served with bruleed sponge cake. The sponge cake was dry, flat in flavor and stale. The ice cream served on top was melted to the point of being just a sauce. We mentioned this disappointment to the server...he smiled and agreed it shouldn't be served like that and promptly did nothing about it. We felt this was arrogant and unsympathetic. A sour end too an otherwise great experience.

A very nice place to eat and relax. I enjoyed my time there.

everything was on point, I've been here multiple times and keep coming back
