Had the lunch special steak quesadilla and chicken tortilla soup. The margarita and the lunch special was very good.

Relaxed lunch in a quiet location. Chicken quesadillas were recommended and we all enjoyed them. Full and tasty. As it was lunch we did not take the famous margaritas, but our local guide expounded on their quality and strength.
Solid Mexican Restaurant. Next time, I am going to try the second floor for it looked amazing.I definitely had better burritos before but really good. The staff was really nice and the aesthetic was awesome.
This place is a Lil more pricey but trust me, it is so worth the extra money. I ordered a cheese enchilada plate that comes with lettuce, tomato and I chose Black Beans to go with and OMG! It was so great that the 30 something price tag was not at all disheartening. The Best I have had so far in Denver. Enjoy! ??
The Rio never disappoints. Great food, friendly staff, and the best margs in Colorado! You can’t go wrong with the house marg (pictured), frozen or on the rocks, regular, strawberry, or mango. Order like a pro and get a “straw light,” a “man berry” or a “big tex.”
The enchilada's Verde sauce was advertised as "tomatillo sauce" however, the only flavor in the sauce was lime.So, the two small enchilada's were smothered in a creamy lime sauce and they had very little cheese inside. Also, there was none melted on top. (Not essential unless there's barely any cheese inside)On top of that, the rice on the side was some of the most flavorless rice I've had at a Mexican restaurant.So I had lime enchiladas (these did not taste very good) and bland rice.My bill was 18 some dollars for just the meal. I didn't order any drinks.Verdict: Overpriced and mediocre / bad food.I will not be returning ever.
This nice location was great until I was seated.. the floor was dirty full of tortilla chip crumbs and a mf had the nerve to act like he came to sweep but swept the air above the crumbs and they remained on the floor next to my table the remainder of my date??the mirrors which could've added a great feel failed to do so because they are foggy and streaked, just as the vintage bottle of water left at my table! The food tasted rushed and cheap except the beans and rice.. that shyt was good and I hate beans!;the rest looked great but lacked the "Damn this is good" factor! The drinks were also amazing!! Unfortunately my waiter was unenergetic, dry and uninviting... My reservation was for 6:45 I wasn't seated until 7:20 definitely wasn't worth the $98.00 bill or the $20tip I was too generous to leave for the waiter who deserved no tip but since every nice restaurant doesn't expect a black man to tip I did so anyway... I left this place feeling duped into an overpriced meal and robbed of a one of a kind experience! I will not return for another disappointing experience unless ensured my seating area will b clean and the first thing set on my table is too! ?? Maybe it's just my water ruined the rest of the night..please clean the bottles?
