Drinks pretty good but very acidic.Chips are really thin, get breaking in the guacamole. Guacamole ? was about half pico. For the price I would expect a ball of guac and no pico, obviously a stretching move. Taste was good and jalapenos were nice and hot with the end of summer sting.Chicken tacos were good but the blackened cod was *extremely* salty, couldn't eat it all. Soft taco tortillas are very small, maybe 3inches, need to be 4 or more. Kim had the short rib taco. The sauce was very sour and overwhelming that it didn't taste right. I tasted it and I couldn't taste the meat, just the overwhelming BBQ sauce, so heavy on neither of us could get pasr the 1st bite. We also has the churros and ice cream for dessert The first batch of churros came out and the dough around the caramel to the skin was raw, completely uncooked. They did bring out a second cooked batch which was some of the better churros we have had. They did not comp the blackened ccd and brisket, unfortunate as they were so bad bad neither of us could finish them.
Stopped in at a slow time on a rough day...I very happily recommend this place! Leah, at the bar, recommended the Chimichurri Carnitas tacos and they were so good I ordered more and had to take some home for my husband. My margaritas were the best addition and when I said I thought one that I had tried should have had chili she went to the back to get some to modify my second order of the "Mexican Blackbird" ......Seriously, if you like tacos &/or margaritas you definitely should try it!
Perfect! Yummy food and delicious Margarita!
I’m going to start this review off with a disclaimer that this was my own personal experience. The reviews on find me gluten free are so conflicting that we finally decided to go in and try this place out. We wound up speaking with Sarah the head chef who runs the kitchen. Yes the chips are gf and they keep it a dedicated fryer. Sarah doesn’t like to advertise it because the one in a million chance something accidentally falls in. That being said we can have 99% of this menu as celiac gluten free. The green chili has a cornstarch base instead of a rue. The only taco they don’t recommend is the cauliflower as it can be flash fried in the non gluten free fryer. For dinner we had the Nachos, carnitas, brisket, blue suede and island carnitas on corn tortillas. Everything was so fresh and tasty including the margaritas! Overall we had a wonderful experience and will definitely be back! Great wait staff and it was Sarah who made our night!
What a great experience. Especially for Celiac/Gluten free peeps. Was able to talk to the head chef Sarah about options available ?. Was told that the chips have a separate fryer and they can make the tacos in corn tortillas or lettuce wraps. The queso and green chili are both GF and made with corn starch instead of a rue. Had the nachos as well as the Island carnitas, Blue Suede chicken and Braised Short rib tacos. (The fried shallots and leeks are non breaded and fried in the GF fryer). What an fabulous find. They do not promote the dedicated fryer in case of cross contamination. Loved the dinner and the experience btw the Rosa and house margaritas are delicious. Will be back
great staff, great tacos great drinks
Great service and awesome food
Fantastic selection of tacos and affordable mixed drinks like Margheritas, Palomas and more. Definitely get the Elote corn and apple cilantro steak taco. Indoor and outdoor seating. Great service too.
Fun atmosphere with great tacos.. lots of options for tacos.. all were amazing! Staff was friendly and attentive! Awesome dinner!
Small menu but why go crazy when you do one thing so well? My family had short ribs, tuna, and a variety of steak tacos. All were wonderful! The salsas all lean a little spicy but not too crazy. House drinks are reasonably priced and tasty. Great, fast service too.
