Everything was awesome but prefer counter service however Catherine was a great server.Good beer selection.

I absolutely loved this beer garden. The atmosphere was immaculate and lively, especially during the night. The colors pop with all lights. I throughly enjoyed their selection of beers as well!
I’ve been here a couple times and the food is incredible! Definitely try the field trip menu with the Hawaiian style food. Also drinks are great. I went on a Sunday morning and unfortunately wasn’t acknowledged for about 25 min, which was pretty disappointing. We are pretty patient but a “we will be right with you” or an apology for the delay would have been appreciated. Once we got a server, she was great! I felt like this was a one time issue and likely isn’t a structural issue. It won’t stop us from coming back too!
“Dog friendly” but only till 3pm once we showed up. Other wise great place.*Edit response to “only on the weekend dog safety”*Should be determined on a case by case basis then, When we showed up there were more than a dozen outdoor tables open with little to no people outside. Either way, good drinks, just wish it was truly dog friendly as most working people want the weekend as their escape with their furry friends and in this situation your establishment is not dog friendly during prime hours.
We hosted a post wedding Brunch at Recess Beer Garden a couple weeks ago and it was a great experience. Angelica was the contact person who was so sweet and accommodating. She made sure that all our guests needs were met and provided the perfect atmosphere for a casual Brunch. The food was excellent and plenty of it! Highly recommend Recess for a private event.
My 3rd time here. Let me just say, every time I visit Denver, I will continue to visit Recess Beer Garden. I absolutely love how attentive the staff is, knowing exactly what we need, when we need it! big Kudo's. My last visit there, there was an issue with another customer, the security guy picked up on how uncomfortable I was, he walked over and casually started conversation, to detour the other customer away. I cannot thank this gentleman enough for what he had done. I believe his name was Robert. Oh and all the dogs!!! I love places that allow dogs! Great food and a decent amount of alcoholic selections too! Giving this place a solid 5 and highly recommend!!
Good menu and good options. Great priced drinks and really enjoyed their drinks. Service was a bit slow And took a bit for food, but they were nice and it was busy... overall recommend
Awesome patio with tons of seating! Staff was very attentive even though it was busy. Burger was delicious and good selection of local beers. Good spot to grab drinks with friends on a Saturday night.
Has to be the saddest mule I've ever had. Its one of the drinks on their menu. It's not like they don't make it often. Bar and outside area are cool though. Just had the one drink so can't really speak to anything else.
