Amazing owners! Amazing staff! Amazing Coffee! Always welcomed with warm smiles and the smell of fresh coffee brewing. A great way to start the day!???
The coffee and almond croissant is AMAZING.. not to mention the house is adorable and the customer service is A+.
Quince isn’t the shop you go to for your traditional coffee shop experience, they’re not a shop, they’re a home but if you wanted a cortado they could easily whip up the tastiest one for you.Quince is that little secret you find one day and then you have to bring your friends to every time they’re in town just to share that little bit of magic off East Colfax.Coffee houses like this are hard to find, do they even really exist anymore?Genuinely authentic community exists and grows here, fresh local pastries and art from artists of all genders/sexualities/races drive that point home even harder: shop small, support your community.Things have changed over the years, some old, some new and some things come and go as they find what works for them.Quince survived through one of the hardest times and I don’t doubt they’ll continue to thrive for years to come.Treat yourself to an amazing sweet potato cinnamon roll, I haven’t grown tired of them yet!! Or one of the amazing Danny Cakes!!An iced lavender matcha with oat milk or classic cappuccino with some steamed cinnamon are drinks you can’t go wrong with.An amazing shop and a hidden Denver treasure.?
I was so excited to visit my favorite coffee shop after being gone for 3 years. I stayed open to the new ownership, but the experience was disappointing. Although the staff member was friendly, helpful, and quick- one of my burritos was not nearly cooked long enough. The potatoes were still raw and the inside was very watery like it wasn’t heated long enough for the frozen water to cook out. Tortilla was raw as well. The coffee tasted a bit burnt, definitely not the best tasting and I sorely missed the homemade lavender syrup. The salsa and sweet potato cinnamon roll were the best part of the meal.
Such a great little spot with a new owner as of Nov 2021—stopped in for tea and a breakfast treat and decided to eat in just to try to slow down and enjoy the relaxed surrounding, and also take a look at the goods from local artists and makers (paintings, *beautiful* handmade cutting boards, etc). They’ve got games and books to enjoy and the menu has something for any dietary restriction/preference. The decor is eclectic and it’s super relaxed and welcoming to all. They even have a zodiac inspired menu if that’s your thing—it’s not mine personally, but everyone in this day and age could do with a bit of the local, peace-and-love feeling they’re trying to add to the neighborhood. Some dog-friendly outdoor seating as well. There’s plenty of parking in front on the street or in the lot, so it's super easy to turn off of Colfax and park and pop in for your regular/daily coffee too!
Good coffee but very rude staff. Glared at me and passive aggressively mocked me for a minor mistake regarding the CC machine. DId not thank me and instead glared at me with deep anger and disgust. All I did was order a coffee and pay. I did not tell a joke, tell a story, or even speak. Just smiled and ordered.
What a cool coffee house! The artwork hanging in the rooms was super intriguing. The staff was friendly and communicated well. I felt super comfortable hanging with a friend for a cup of coffee. Thanks!
This is probably my new favorite coffee shop in Denver! Old-school, super cozy coffee shop in an old house that is increasingly hard to find. The service was super friendly and helpful, great coffee, vegan burrito was pretty tasty. They’re also pup friendly with treats, water bowls, and chew toys handy!
Paige is the best barista EVER!!! I really struggle to go to coffee shops because they can never make it sweet enough, but Paige understood the assignment!! 10/10 recommend Quince!!
Soooooo cute! I love everything about this place. It's like you are at your funky aunt's house, yet is has a sophisticated and fun vibe. So glad to be able to support a local business instead of tyrant coffee shops directly on Colfax. Their pastries are delicious and the service is excellent. I will be back, for sure. ?☕️
