This was the best meal I have had in 10 years. The beer was excellent with British Character. The Whiskey flight was excellent, and the waiters Whiskey suggestions were better. Thr food was great from appetizer through dessert. We were there over 2 hours enjoying every minute and never feeling rushed or neglected.
Awesome place. We got a whiskey flight it hard an excellent assortment
Food and service were both excellent. My husband and I both had salads (Somerset with chicken — $2 upgrade, and Buckingham chef). Everything was fresh and delicious. Then we split the raspberry trifle — definitely the right amount. Lisa was our server and was absolutely fantastic. Highly recommend it!
As a Brit visiting Denver this place is pretty good. Excellent service and good burgers and chocolate cake. The cask ale is seriously strong by British standards but served at room temperature with a good flavour.
First off, Cesar was absolutely lovely from the moment we walked in the door. Hands down some of the best service in Denver. We shared the lamb and the London broil, and while both phenomenal, I would have the lamb as my last meal if ever on death row. Wonderful environment with an old school vibe. The entire staff was friendly and fun! Go here now. Go here yesterday. Go here tomorrow. Thank you, Pints Pub!
Great lunch service in a very British pub style restaurant. The fish and chips is very good although the fish (salmon) is grilled and not deep fried - but very delicious! And salad included makes this a very pleasant day out!
Food was okay, weird mix of Irish and English foods. Food and drinks weren’t particularly British, it’s what you’d find in an Americanized Irish pub. Let’s just say we’ve had much better bangers n’ mash in Colorado. The grilled chicken sandwich did hit the spot. That being said, the building and environment was really cool. It did feel like they tried a bit too hard to make it look like what Americans think an English pub looks like. But Telephone box outside was fun!Overall, it’s very close the the art museum so it was a perfect after stop. Glad we came in, good to try once. Also adding: overly expensive for what it was. 60+ for lunch for two.
Stopped in for a quick dinner after visiting the Denver Museum of Art a block away. So glad I did. They have their own beers. I only tried one brown ale but it was very good.I had the Lamb for dinner which was cooked perfectly and tasted great. The sides were mashed potatoes and gravy and a salad. The salad had Bleu Cheese dressing that was obviously made in house.Everything was really good including the service.
It's been a long time since we went to this English pub in the museum district of Denver. Not at all crowded on Friday evening. Great service and food, lots of beer (and whiskey, of you're into it). We were in the mood for fish and chips, but not for heavy fried stuff. Theirs is charbroiled salmon!
Pints Pub is easily a 6 star experience. For anyone who is looking for that piece of England, this is absolutely the place for you. A neighborhood place with all the charm of the British Isles. The owner is a true anglophile and the bar is decorated all over with bits and bobs from their travels. The beer, brewed in house (long before a lot of the other breweries in town) is English through and through. I recommend a pint of Alchemy ESB. The food has everything you want. From Chips and Crisps (with salt and vinegar please) to very traditional bangers and mash. I would go for the crackers and cheese because you get a giant cracker or the bird in the hand sandwich. All of that is enough. All of that makes it 5 stars. What makes it 6 stars though? The single malt whisky selection. It is here where they pull away from the competition. Clearly this is one of the (if not the) largest collections this side of the pond. The waitstaff and bartender are well versed. Give them a budget first and a couple of tastes and they will do the rest. Can't choose? Take a trip through Scotland on a flight of Whisky's.I'm super happy that Pint's pub calls Denver home. Looking forward to the next visit.
