We dined here for a late brunch on Easter Sunday. I called ahead to see if they were really busy, guy on phone said no, come on in, there's no wait. Sure enough, we got seated right away. The T-bone steak I ordered was a bit tough, but I still ate it all. Service was friendly but after our meals were gone, service fell off and our waitress disappeared. We had to flag down a waitress serving other tables to get water and coffee refills and to get dirty dishes bussed. Yes, I would return.
Great service and delicious food! I definitely recommend the Greek Chicken Kabob Skillet! Extra tzasziki sauce and pita bread is always a must! Thanks for always being my favorite restaurant! <3
All-around solid, old school Greek dinner with down-to-earth service and a lengthy menu. A part of the great Pete’s family of restaurants, this location is at the heart of the DU community. Will be back again and again.
I came in here with no expectation. But it became my favorite diner. Great and unique menu! We had Souvlaki Skillet, Breakfast Burrito and Eggs Mazatlan. Everything was great. Big portions, reasonable price and of course nice staff as well. I’m definitely coming back to try other things when I’m in Denver again!
This restaurant!! I went in with basic diner expectations and left with a new favorite restaurant. The menu has such amazing options and everything we tried was fantastic. They know how to cook!
Love this place. Highly recommend. Waitstaff has worked here for 20+ years same people same great service same amazing food if you haven’t tried one of Pete Contos’ restaurants yet you can’t really say you’ve been to denver.
Spinach and feta omelet is so delicious. I definitely will be coming back for some more
I was killing time because I got stood up for collecting Christmas decorations and we decided to have breakfast at Pete's. I haven't been there in years, but I kept tabs on them because a good breakfast place is hard to find. the restaurant menu is short but complete. with the usual Greek dishes in addition to the US faire. I got the standard two eggs over easy with link sausage , potatoes and rye toast. coffee and water my friend got the Greek inlet and her 2 year old son got an adult size bowl of oatmeal, which he attacked with enthusiasm. the coffee was spot on and all the meals disappeared quickly. We got a top notch waitress, college age with dyed red hair on the front half of her head and black dyed hair in the back not out of place for a university cafe. and frankly to much normal makes me nervous. it was a great meal in a great friendly, efficient atmosphere. and our waitress brought the check quietly with the comment that she knew people with kids sometimes had to leave fast. Respectful and efficient. go when you want good food, good service, at a fair price.
Friendly staff, quick service for my to go order, old Diner atmosphere which I always appreciate. But my gyro breakfast burrito was super disappointing. Egg and potato in the tortilla was fine, but there was only a couple tiny pieces of meat inside. The green chile was bland, had no spiciness at all. Was just a grab and go thing for me but I've had much better burritos for less.
So I got all that for 14 USD. Great taste. Even greater value for money.
