Everything everyone says is true -- the owner really is there every night, ladies really do get a rose, everyone really does get a (soft) shot of SoCo and Sunny D for free. The pool table costs $0.75 and is well maintained. There's a jukebox. It's cash only and Coors Banquets cost $4.It's everything you could ever ask for in a dive.
Great little bar. You get a starter shot for the free with your first drink. Good place to go and convers.
A party of three were just refused service because they “smelled like weed.” Conveniently after they showed they Mexican passports. They were band members on tour visiting local bars. Unfortunately I doubt this is a policy that is applicable to all people, as a few friends and I were at a separate table also smelling like weed and we were served just fine. Ridiculous the double standards applied to BIPOC. Will not be returning to this location.
Immaculate service from a beautiful old barman who clearly owned the place. I got turned away for a digital ID. Will be back.

Have been to this bar a few times within last couple of months. Has been great service. Last time I went I was asked for proof of my vaccination before be allowed to order a beer. I have the card in my wallet. I politely left as I feel this is a little much for a bar to ask for on colfax. Their choice but they have lost my business.
