Excellent food, beer, and service. Our server Ashley took care of a table of nearly 30 of us while tending bar. She did a super job.
We were so disappointed. Went here last minute before heading to Meow Wolf because every other restaurant downtown was packed. It was dead, we were literally the only customers so we thought we’d get fast and good service. We literally sat waiting for 20 minutes, while employees chatted at the bar before anyone even came over to greet us. Terrible service, less than mediocre food. Now I know why it was dead…
Came in tonight from PA, I love the Oskar Blues beers offered back home and was excited to try them here in Denver - especially after a long day hiking the Rockies. Well I was never served, I sat at the bar for a long time and the bartender (I never got his name) joked with patrons around me how he isn't good at his job and knew he wasn't doing a good job. Before I could ask for my beer he told me hold on I'll be back only to go dance and drink his beer on the other side of the bar. So I left, I won't be back because I live on the other side of the country. Just disappointed.Edit: 3 stars, I've talked with ownership/management and because of their commitment to good service I've amended my review. Although I can't come out to Denver any time soon, I appreciate the concern to a customer across the country. Will come back if I'm ever in Denver again (Denver is great so most likely haha)
Awesome place and delicious food. I recommend getting the breakfast burrito!
This was before the BSB concert, terrible service. After an hour and no food we asked to cancel our order and our server told us "okay, hasn't even been put in yet anyway"
Great beer options and really friendly staff. Food was ok, but the overall vibe felt like a great neighborhood bar. I’ll definitely stop back.
My girlfriend and I happened upon this place during our country-wide road trip. We saw the pride flag outside and felt super comfortable coming inside. We were greeted by John, Veronica, and (I’m sorry I forget your name but you had a cute hat on and dark hair and a super chill woman) we ended up sitting at the bar and talking to them ALL night. John was the nicest person and we are so glad we met him! He even pulled out a map of Colorado and gave us suggestions on where to go. I love a place where they take the time to get to know you and give you an amazing service experience. We got nachos and four ciders, all AMAZING. There are plenty of beers to choose from that all look so good.Thank you so much staff and especially John. You are truly a kind and wonderful person and we couldn’t be happier that we stumbled upon Oskar Blues in Denver. Peace, love and Jelly Beans!
While visiting CO Springs we stumbled upon this place while trying to find some dinner downtown. It was PERFECT! The service was friendly and quick; the food was delicious; and the environment was very cool!! It was all top notch. I would 100% return here when in CO Springs and would reccomend to others!
Beer was great, but the food was disappointing.Pulled pork in the sandwich was cold. Not much of flavor either. Kinda dry.Wings were good, but ranch sauce was watery and kinda weird and gross.Lastly, the listed 11am open is wrong. It's 11:30.A group of people were standing outside the bar on GameDay like a bunch of schmo's wondering when they were opening and if they need to bail and go somewhere else.
Good beer selection of both Oskar Blues and other regional crafts. Good fresh food and cocktails. Chill ambience.
