Let me start with saying the food, drinks, and service were all excellent. However, they charge a large service fee (21%), regardless of party size, that does NOT include tip. I think this should have been pointed out so it's clear what your being charged for. I went for lunch with my mom and it was $90 after the fee, again before tip. Very pricey for lunch! I ordered a virgin mojito but was still charged the full price for my drink. I would consider doing takeout but that still comes with a 5% service fee, but I will not be going back for dine-in.Some positives: The brisket tacos were delicious - I started off with 2 and ordered an additional 2, as they were pretty small but packed with flavor! My mom had the ceviche and also a side of guacamole, which she loved.
Nice location. Food was tasty. A bit pricey although price includes service tip. The beer battered fish taco was my favorite (no picture).Oysters were blahh- nothing special & not worth $3.50 each. Pork belly taco was overfilled with corn & didn’t taste like pork belly at all.3.7/5.
YUM! High quality Mexican & seafood! We got the ahi tuna burrito bowl, California burrito, and lobster tacos. The poke bowl and lobster tacos were bomb! I subbed mezcal in their sterling silver coin margarita and it was great!
This restaurant in Lowry has good Mexican-style food and menu items, an open and interesting decor to the interior, and friendly and attentive service. The food prices are a bit on the pricey side (think downtown Denver prices, even though it's not downtown Denver) but the portions are big enough to share. Plenty of seating inside and outside, as well as free parking adjacent to the restaurant that is shared with other neighboring restaurants.
Their vegetarian macho nachos and drinks were good. I ordered the north county enchiladas with shrimp and regretted it immediately after tasting it. The shrimp was bland and unseasoned, enchilada sauce wasn’t great and they put this crema sauce on top that tasted like ranch. It wasn’t my taste, I’d rather go to a authentic Mexican restaurant. From the taste of the entrees I wanted to rate it a 1 star, but the staff and management were friendly and attentive.
Food was amazing only reason I gave four stars instead of five is the price. I got the Nachos($14) with meat(+$4) and it was $18. They were really good and they didn't skimp on the meat but still that's a lot of $$ for nachos. Price per taco is about $5. Good food but not budget friendly.
Never knew they had a brunch too! We are adding this onto the brunch rotation. Excellent drinks, food, and service.
Tortilla soup was creamy but very spicy. The tacos I ordered were just what I needed. Churros for dessert!!!
Great tacos, good margaritas (and they bring you the shaker), good service, good happy hour, and everyone else liked their food and drink. Our bill was messed up a couple times, but it happens sometimes. Would recommend.
Very good food, on the pricey side. We ordered the breakfast burrito and the tres french toast. The breakfast burrito was flavorful with out being too much of anyone thing. It had a great mix of egg meat and sauce to complement each other. The french toast was superb, it was sweet with a great mix of crisp (from the walnuts) and soft from the toasted plantains. Definitely recommend this place if you are in the area.
