What a yummy lunch! I got a make your own 1/2 Pastrami & 1/2 chopped liver sandwich (I didn’t want the mash-up). Staying with my sister in Denver and this was definitely a good choice for lunch! The servings were generous and the waitstaff was prompt and courteous

Every Denver trip includes a lunch here. Delicious pastrami.

Great authentic NY Jewish deli. I’m from NY and never thought I would experience one again. Will be back many times more. Pastrami on Rye. The bomb.

I had a very good meal with a friend on Saturday, April 30th, 2022. We each had a soda, small matzo ball soup, shared a potato knish, a tongue sandwich and a pastrami sandwich. I ordered the pastrami sandwich to be fatty and sliced thick and that's exactly how it came. It was delicious. The tongue sandwich was served warm and it was also delicious. I will definitely be back.

One of the best pastrami sandwiches, in the local area hands down!!! A must visit if you're in the neighborhood...I know I'll most definitely be back for this yummy goodness!!!

The sandwiches are huge and just THE BEST!! I also love the coleslaw, salads, desserts, and everything I have eaten there!

Always a great experience! Not a lot of delis in the Denver metro area, but luckily, NY Deli News is delicious and consistent. Here’s what I ordered:- Pastrami on Rye (ordering the large will be plenty for lunch and a second meal later)- Side of Fries, crispy (doesn’t come with meal)- 7 layer chocolate cake (very rich, very moist, very good!)- CoffeeI thoroughly enjoy coming to NY Deli News. My only issue is the price. A large sandwich can easily approach $18-$20, and that doesn’t include fries.A few tips:- order a side of Russian dressing for your sandwich- be sure to ask for pickles or they won’t bring them out to the table- coffee is a little watered down- chocolate cake is very rich and obviously huge, easily can be shared across the tableFinally, the staff are friendly and work very hard. Now, my four star rating hits on two major items that I must get off my chest:1. Price is pretty high for a deli. I’ve been to plenty of delicatessens and this seems to be the highest I’ve ever seen.2. The pastrami, for big it is, is still uncommonly small. Classic sandwiches like this need to easily be overflowing with meat. This is a small portion, especially for the price youre paying. I’m always willing to pay higher than normal costs for larger than normal portions.

Very disappointing sandwich. It's a small nothing sandwich for $15.95 plus tax plus tip. Poor quality meat. Not much meat. When you hear "best Reuben outside New York ", you think of a sandwich piled high with meat New York style. That's what I usually get at the Bagel Deli 2 blocks west of this mediocre at best joint. They charge $15.95 with a side! I can get a better Reuben at 20 restaurants that aren't even Jewish Delis. Shame Shame. Live and learn. TOFTT.

Been going here for over 25 years, my boyfriend and I went, waited about 10 minutes, then told the host no one had come by to ask if we wanted anything to drink. A few minutes later the waitress came by and apologized. We've been here many times since new ownership took over years ago and knew the prices had gone up quite a bit but usually the sandwiches are pretty large to somewhat justify the prices (and cost of living, inflation, etc). We decided to order the french dip sandwich for $17.25 and split it because we were expecting a huge sandwich. Not the case. The sandwich was tasty but not very big. On a regular round (poppy seed?) roll and equivalent to a couple inches of roast beef (we substituted the brisket), the meat was in the center, not even spread out to the edges of the sandwich. The coleslaw looked old and wilted. Sandwich split in half to share...well you can imagine, not real pleased...for $17.25. Honestly I never thought I'd pay $17 plus tax and tip for any sandwich but for this little amount, this is pretty sad. Very disappointed and likely won't be back at these prices for such little amount of food/service.

Happy day! Got to restaurant about 1 p.m. No wait, attentive server with beverages and order taking, followup with refills of iced tea and coffee. Reubens were delicious and generous, priced appropriately. Ambience is great - warm and welcoming, not too noisy for hearing conversation at our table. Thank you for very enjoyable lunch!
