I was excited to come here because it is run by the same people who run French 75. The American food was good; the Asian fusion was kind of a miss. We had a super long wait for our 8 pm reservation, and the server seated us at the nearby Vesper bar and gave us free drinks. After everything, we left at about 11:40 pm. The staff was really nice, and they made it up to us, which is why my review is four stars instead of three.

Had a wonderful time here, friendly and knowledgeable staff were helpful and provided excellent service. I enjoyed the chef's tasting menu without wine pairing and was happy I did so; overall the dishes that really shone were the more vegetable-primary plates and the pastries. The meats were great as well, but the mushroom dishes really sung with flavor and texture. The only quibble I had was with the chai creme bruele with pistachios; the salt level was a bit much combined with the soft fatty texture of the nuts and creme. My thought was using a sweeter nut with more crunch, like a candied pecan, or something more smoky like a hickory nut.

We made a reservation for 10 people and got a private room. The minimum for 10 people was $500 which was easily do-able! They had lots of options on their menu. Our server was great!

This place was lovely. We ordered the three course meal and loved all of the little tastings in between they surprise you with. Not pictured is a peach kombucha that was perfection, popcorn and horchata, and a fennel role. They also sent us home with chocolates and cookies, coffee, and donuts for the morning. If you're looking for a fun experience and masterful food, try it out!

Tasting menu was unimaginative, forgettable basic, not executed well. Dishes came out cold, overly salted and left hungry after seven courses. Really disappointed because the waiter really sold us on the tasting menu over the a la carte option which seemed to have promise. The elk tenderloin was anything but tender, overcooked and cold. Sushi bite had tough rice. Mushroom over salted and plating was unimaginative. Save your money and go somelsewhere

Really enjoyed our experience at Mizuna for my husband's birthday. Service, food, drinks, everything exceeded our expectations, although I didn't particularly enjoy the Dungeoness Crab appetizer, everything else made up for it. They have on their website that they add gratuity so no surprises there. Making the reservation online was straightforward and easy. The atmosphere is inviting and elegant.

The staff made me feel like royalty. It was really an amazing experience with amazing food.

Amazing experience! We've been coming here for years and it is always so great. Get the tasting menu and you will not be disappointed!

Delicious food and very gracious, attentive service. We went to Mizuna in a group of 6 and sat outside in the tent. We ordered the 3-course meal and we're impressed by the quantity of food (they are very generous with bites before and after the main courses) and how well they handled our group's dietary restrictions (combinations of gluten-free, pescatarian but no shellfish, allergies to onion, peppers, etc).It was long, slower meal, but definitely worth it so you can savor the flavors and make room for all the food. Definitely recommend and appreciate the Mizuna team's hospitality!

Absolutely a terrible experience. The restaurant had a foul odor. The food was mediocre. There was a 22% mandatory gratuity. The gratuity is used to pay staff that is typically salaried and does not go to the server. I would recommend avoiding this restaurant. There are much better places in Denver.
