The restaurant is very nice day atmosphere is very nice, and great customer service from the owners daughter and pleasant to the eyes.But the food was not good ;; I ordered pork chops and pork chops were like eating a piece of leather and I ordered chicken on the side and it look like they had went to the nearest store and bought it from our nearest local store.Will try again because another waitress came out and told me that the best item on the menu is the ribs.
I order two catfish dinners and they both were not done raw to the point I had to put the fish in my air fryer and the other plate was wasted
It’s the ambiance that gets me at this establishment. Always clean , live musicians playing the piano those two things are it. I’ve been twice since visiting Colorado ….. Now the food is not to die for it will fill you up but just because it’s salty doesn’t mean it’s flavorful it just means it’s instant high blood pressure . I will only go to this establishment for drinks and live music.
I’ve eaten here multiple times I am from a close neighborhood by! This has became one of my favorite restaurants in Colorado! Their fish is good, there smoked wings are amazing all the sides are yummy and I tried the ox tails for the first time which were the best ox tails I’ve tasted in Colorado yet. Very proud that there is a Soulfood place that is very welcoming, smooth and has great food, definitely try if you never have you will be satisfied!
Amazing soul food/BBQ with great live music on the weekends and a relaxed/friendly atmosphere. My absolute favorites: the spare ribs, the fried shrimp, BBQ pulled pork sandwich, smoked chicken wings, Mac n cheese, and coleslaw. Their BBQ sauce is one of the best sauces I've ever tasted!
Very hospitipal atmosphere, great soulful ambient music in the back ground. Catfish was amazing and so was the rest of our food ! Well priced and worth every penny Live music! owner Tyrone is a great individual with class and talent Excellent Excellent!!
This is a great new addition to Park Hill. My mom and me loved it. The ribs are fall off the bone and super delicious. They come with a delicious mustard-based bbq sauce that compliments them perfectly. The catfish has a perfect crispy coating and the fish is cooked just right. The sides are fantastic as well...some of the best potato salad I've had in awhile! The owner, Ty, is very welcoming and even had us sample some freshly made pulled pork which was absolutely delicious. Come support this business.PS,There's a particular reviewer that gave multiple bad reviews under different accounts. Talk about petty. That should be against Google Reviews policy. It's just sad that someone could be petty enough to give multiple negative reviews under different accounts
My family and I had an all around wonderful experience tonight at Mississippi Boy Catfish & Ribs. The atmosphere, service, friendliness, and entire experience was great. And the food was AMAZING! My parents, husband, 10yr old and even our 10 month old loved every delicious bite. We had ribs, catfish, fried chicken, a smoked burger, collards, cornbread, slaw, potato salad, and chocolate cake. It was all cooked to order by the owner who came out to greet us while we ate the most delicious southern food. The collards were perfectly seasoned with just the right amount of heat. The catfish and cornbread were perfection. I could go on and on about all of it, it was amazing. They also have live music on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights, and it is nestled in a neighborhood so parking and traffic are a non issue. If you haven't been, you need to go!
Great environment, and awesome food and drinks. Definitely a place to unwind with friends. Staff are very friendly. I will be back for sure.
I ordered the beef ribs and was expecting some fall of the bone ribs but all I got was the bone I haven’t touched my food yet and this is what I spent $30 on VERY DISAPPOINTED. On top of that the ribs a very dissatisfying. Greens & fries are good tho.
