The reason this store got 5 stars is I can only give up to 5 stars here. They had the best seller who introduced you all the difference between their drinks. Their drinks are totally different from other tea stores. The cream is smooth and creamy and it won't be too sweet. The tea itself is wonderful too. The combination of blueberries and lime and teaki is genius! Want to come back for another drinks
If you are in downtown denver, it is a MUST to check this place out. The experience, the drinks, desserts, employees, and flavors were all spectacular. I personally love their strawberry matcha drink and ube waffle. It is the perfect amount of sweetness and everything is organic and super fresh. I would rate this place 1,000,000 out of 5 if I could! Do it and you won’t regret it.
June 2022It’s in downtown, but need to go inside an alley to find this place. They have only been here for 11 months. The owners are the ones that makes the orders. They are friendly. Could use a music inside so that customers don’t have to stare at each other while waiting for the their orders.Milk teas are all made fresh (NO powder flavored milk teas). Not sweet at all if that’s what you like. The waffle ube is similar to mochi, a bit chewy with flavor need to eat while serve fresh with ice cream.Not bad but should have options on how sweet or how many percentage of sugar you want on your milk tea. Must try other flavors.
I love this place. I'm glad it's downtown and not next door because I think about it all the time. I'm working my way through the menu now and it's all so good, you can tell high quality ingredients are used and care goes into each item. All of the staff are so kind and the shop is beautiful and the drinks delicious. I'm so glad this is in Denver!
I tried Blueberry Lavender Matcha, Peach Cobbler Latte. It was delicious and good looking. The owner and workers are very nice and friendly. Dog friendly because I saw they put a bowl of water in front of the door. I would give them more than 5 stars if I could.
There are a lot of Asian-style milk tea places in Denver, but none like Milk Tea People. Everything here is made by hand — with only the highest-quality ingredients. Yes, even the matcha is hand-whisked in front of you!No artificial Thai tea powders here. Only loose leaf teas, ethically sourced directly from farmers (to give them 100% of the price), and almost entirely certified organic.You can still get that sweet Thai tea though! It’s just brewed with real leaves. Add some oat milk to it, and it’s my go-to here. The more creative flavors feature additions of ube (Filipino purple yam), matcha, strawberry (but more herbal tasting than sweet, blueberry lavender, black sesame, and more.And don’t forget the “wafchi” (waffle mochi). Crunchy on the outside, chewy in the inside, infused with matcha or ube for some fun flavor (and color). And GLUTEN-FREE! Rice flour only.I also got the pleasure of meeting one of the owners while here: he was working hard behind the counter and so excited to tell us about this place. You can’t help but want to support small businesses like this when you meet the dedicated people behind it.

Hands down the best matcha experience of my life! We got the Blueberry Lavender Matcha and Strawberry Matcha. They are so delicious, even my husband who has never enjoyed matcha loved his. We can’t wait to go back before we leave town. The owner is so knowledgeable and kind. Everyone working was SO incredibly nice!
This place is delicious. The Thai tea needed a little bit more sweetness to that but overall the place was great. The Ube coconut waffle mochi was absolutely delicious. I would definitely go here again for that.
