The margaritas are really good! The nachos are enough for two people. I highly recommend this restaurant. It's on the best part of Colfax
Good atmosphere, good service, very tasty food. the only thing missing are photos of Don Ramón and cantinflas lol
I think these tacos are legit. Flavors are authentic. Margaritas are delicious. Try it on Tuesday for $2 tacos.
Pretty cool spot. Vegetarian options taste ok, pretty average flavor. Our server may have been having an off day as they weren't very attentive, and only stopped by our table to order food and bring the bill. They also weren't slammed while we were there. Was never able to ask for hot sauce. The drinks were really delicious.
Cute place, seems like a nice place to eat/drink if you could get service. My friend and I sat at the bar and saw that the restaurant was pretty busy so thought nothing of it for the first 5 minutes. We spent about 20 minutes at the bar and no one said a single word to us, not even a "Hi I'll be with you in a moment." Would love to try again but don't want to wait 30 minutes for service.
Awesome drinks, food, music & ambiance!
Should have taken the fact that no one was in there as a sign.Used to come here years ago because I worked in the area. Faces changed a lot and that always says a lot about the restaurant as a whole because I believe people stay when they’re treated good and making money. Second time in two years and last time I gave them a pass, Covid made things hard for restaurants. But let’s just say they were doing nothing to follow Covid protocols, didn’t care to wait on us. When I called attention to it, the manager (said he was the owner) didn’t take any responsibility other than they were just busy that night. Said they were having a goodbye party for an employee that was leaving (lucky her) But seemed to me like the restaurant is just a hobby I guess. Don't care if they lose paying guests. Never thought the food was That authentic being Mexican and all so I shrugged it off and figured I didn’t need it, it’s Denver, better Mexican on just about every corner. Stopped in today for some simple nachos and a taco, never came….47 minutes later we tell the waitress we have somewhere to be and she brings us a check for 20 bucks (and that’s happy hour prices) 2 drinks and chips and salsa which we did not ask for she brought it and says “she doesn’t know what happened” couldn’t help but notice the white people in the whole place got their food though….seems a little suspicious when there’s just as many employees in the restaurant as patrons on a regular Sunday afternoon not dinner time. Manager finally came over and comped our drinks but parking is super tough and so don’t expect excellent service or attention to detail I guess. Not worth it and never going back!

The pastor tacos were probably some of the best tacos I had in a while, and if you also have kids I also suggest the kids burrito from the kids menu, they also have some very good music and a great atmosphere.
I tour with bands across country so I like to try what's close to the venue and this place was very welcoming off the bat! I sat at the bar and wished I had asked for the bartenders name, she was very professional and suggested I try the house margarita which was perfect. Whenever I'm passing through I'll definitely come back and also mention to crew and the bands to come by!
