I'm originally from Massachusetts where they used to make the Westminster Crackers and I was stationed in So Portland Maine Casco Bay for a couple of years so I know my lobster and hometown crackers. Lobster Roll was delicious and the chowdah was good but needed to be a little thicker but still good ?. Definitely will be returning.
While the quality of the seafood is good with a fresh taste & great chew, the overall flavor in all the items was lacking. We tried the classic roll, lobster salad roll & the garlic butter shrimp roll. We added on clam chowder as well. Totaling around $90 if you do the extra lobster tail add on (which is not worth the extra charge, in my opinion. The roll is full enough without it.) But we found there to not be enough flavor or taste to make the rolls more than just boiled seafood on toast.Price point is high when compared to the overall experience, even if the seafood is high quality. Similar pricing to what you’ll find on the east coast, though.
Today was the first time I've ever had a lobster roll, so I had no idea what to expect.Overall, it was good. I initially had an issue with the portion size, but after reading the owner's reply to some reviews on here, the price point made sense.I had the classic lobster roll, and I was pleasantly surprised. The lobster had a nice taste to it, and I liked the bun. Next time, I want to try the CT, but I'll go to the restaurant instead of having it delivered.
I never had a Lobsterroll so I read the ratings on this place and thought I’d try em. Omg so yum❗️. Def lived up to the hype‼️ the clam chowder is delicious I swear. Can’t wait to return and get a different one.
The arbor, warm, juicy with an extra tail. I save the extra tail to dunk in some warm butter after my Sandwich ?. The lobster bisque with lobster lumps sent me on a voyage of my own.

Best lobster roll I’ve ever had! Got the Classic Lobster Roll which was seasoned well and had the perfect amount of mayo and lemon butter. $21 for a lobster roll is a great deal for high quality food like this. Definitely will be back again, Denver is lucky to have a Mason’s Famous Lobster Rolls here!
The lobster was generous. The spice on top overpowered the flavor of the lobster. The bisque was very good and the selection of Maine sodas was fantastic. Pricy and I might try the warm one next time without any spices. I was really just looking for a buttered grilled roll with warm fresh lobster on top.
Ordered through DoorDash to try the first lobster roll I have had (at least in a long time). I got the Connecticut roll and the clam chowder and honestly, both knocked it out of the park! The chowder was so creamy and the lobster roll, simply lobster and clarified butter on a buttery toasted bun was phenomenal. I now officially love lobster rolls.
The lobsters are slightly over cooked and I can’t blame the restaurant for not using fresh lobsters since this is in Colorado. However for $30-$40 per person, I really hoped I can get a restaurant grade roll or at least better than what I can make at home using frozen lobsters. I still enjoyed the food but because of the price, I probably won’t go back. If you really crave lobsters, this is a better choice than Maine Shack in Denver.
