Bomb lobster rolls! Most authentic I've had outside Maine. Love the options for different flavors and sauces for the rolls, and we couldn't decide, so we got the sliders trio to try 3 different rolls: Naked, Connecticut, Fancy (sauce on the side of the Fancy roll)
So had to have a lobster roll! Just one of those cravings. Showed up here fast service but roll was $25. I get we in Colorado but damn. I guess my expectations may have been to high. Don't want to say it was bad but definitely did not hit the spot........from ocean sooo maybe that's why. Cool location and nice staff. Had many other options.
Simply Devine! I’ve been skeptical going to seafood places since I’m originally from So Cal I’m use to fresh seafood but this place DID NOT DISAPPOINT! we ordered the brown butter lobster roll, the fancy roll, fried clams, friend shrimp, lobster sliders and clam chowder. Let me tell you they were delicious!I’ve been to many places here in northern Colorado and a lot of places don’t season their food. The lobster rolls are to die for. the clams Tasted like the ocean and the slaw was freshly made with the perfect crunch. Been here twice and will continue to come here
Best lobster rolls in Denver. I had the browned butter roll and my wife had the Fancy roll with chopped cucumber and celery and Mayo. The lobster was cooked tender and tasty. $28 per roll. Worth it.
Doesn’t disappoint! Excellent lobster roll. Felt like I was back East
06/2022Nice place to eat (indoor or outdoor). This place pick up fresh lobster from the airport I think 4 times a week. You can tell that it is fresh, not chewy like Red Lobster. I been to Maine and had plenty of lobsters there. It is not the same but, better than any big place I been too in Colorado. They know how to cook their lobster. Enjoyed the clam chowder, good flavor, consistency and not too much potatoes. Well done. It is pricey, but worth it. I could have more but with that price, and the amount of serving hmmmm…..?
Today, I visited Maine Shack- one of the best restaurants Denver has to offer!! They have the cutest outdoor patio with great views of downtown Denver and the Highlands Commuter Bridge! Not only is the patio dog friendly, but they bring out dog treats and a fresh bowl of water as well! The inside makes you feel as if you were in Maine, and is gorgeously decorated and has an upstairs with the cutest and most comfy booth tables! The lobster comes from Stonington, Maine, and is overnighted several times a week. The clams come from Ipswich, Massachusetts. They feature drinks that are mostly sourced from the northeast. They are one of few places in CO that have a blueberry soda! I was super impressed with how fast everyone got their food and how great the food tasted! If you don't want to dine in, you can place an order to go, and to assure complete freshness to-go orders have the rolls deconstructed so buns don't get soggy! https://www.facebook.com/MaineShack/ https://instagram.com/maine_shack?igshid=YmMyMTA2M2Y= http://maineshack.com/ 1535 Central St, Denver, CO 80211 303-997-2118
The best you can get outside of Portland! My favorite is the brown butter lobster roll. It’s way too good! They’re also extremely dog friendly and always offer water to your pups. Pro-tip: don’t live within walking distance or you’ll be in every other weekend ?
Love their lobster roll here. It is quite expensive but we got big claws of lobster. Our lobster was $28 each. It comes with chips. You can sub for fries for $2 or onion rings for $3.
Friendly, helpful service.
