Now this is one of the finest places you can go in Denver. It’s a bit of a hidden gem. Some of the best sandwiches you’ll ever try and for a very fair price. If you’ve been following my reviews, you know I love Dave’s Fresh Lasta in Boston, and this place is up there with that. It’s that good. Look at the joy it brings out!
My boyfriend and I LOVE Lou’s! They are helpful and fast and get everything right always. We come probably once and week and I wish it was more. This place is filled with wonderful people who remembered our names after only a few visits and it is SPOTLESS every time we go in. They also have the best mozzarella sticks I’ve ever had. Compared to every other quick restaurant in the rino area, this one is definitely our favorite by far.
Stopped by while in town visiting. My friend Brett works for some of the sister restaurants and said this was a must try. He was right! I tried their signature sandwich. It was huge. Lots of meat. Super fresh veggies. Tons of flavor. Ordered some pasta salad too but I'm saving that for later. Judging by the looks of it, there's no way I can be disappointed. Kind and fast staff. Will be back soon.
Unfortunately I just got my delivery and it was wrong (eggplant vs. chicken parm). Tried to contract via their website but that didn't work. Delivery charge plus tip added to $8 for two sandwiches which although fast, didn't come to my door (which I kind of would expect for $8.00 in delivery for two sandwiches). Really do like the food here, but not very happy with this last experience.Update, Chef Jason Called me shortly and made everything better than even. Place definitely deserves 5 [email protected]
Great food, quality service, every time!
I RARELY give any restaurant, deli, eating establishment 5 stars; but the meatball sandwich at Lou's is exceptional, outstandingly exceptional, in fact. I've had homemade meatballs made by a Sicilian woman, and they were THE BEST meatballs I've ever had. The meatballs at Lou's come as close to the taste of those homemade meatballs I've had. Since the Sicilian woman has passed, I will never taste their yummy goodness again. When I have a craving for some outstanding meatballs, I'll head straight to Lou's ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Received my sandwich and was disappointed in how small it was. Yet my eyes deceived me. The sandwich was short, but it was thick! At first I thought I would finish it in 4 bites, but ended up not finishing due how underwhelming the sandwich tasted. I will not come back. Seems like the shop is made for 85 year old men with no taste buds left… $15 sandwich and threw half of it away.
I just made it to LOU'S Italian Specialties before closing. I've been seriously craving an Italian Beef sandwich all week! At Long last I'm heading in the right direction tonight.
Terrific sandwich spot in RiNo. I had the severino and will be back to try the others.
