6 of us had dinner at Le French Dnever last night. We ordered drinks 2 ordered the blueberry lavender Margaritas and two of us ordered the Pineapple Old Fashioned. The waiter convinced us two switch from the Old Fashions to a traditional Manhattan with Basil Haydon bourbon. I ordered the French Onion soup as an appetizer, which was delicious, and the mussels as an entre. My mussels were only luke warm and most of the mussels were very small and over cooked. All of the large mussels (5) did not open when they were cooked, so they could not be eaten. My wife's dinner, the scallops, were also just warm. I told the waiter about the large mussels not opening, he said he would talk to the kitchen, but nothing was done. When we got the check my friend and I were shocked that they had charged us $21 for each Manhattan. The drink specials were just $14, which the waiter had convinced us to switch from the to the Manhattans. We checked the menu, including the drink menu and there was no price listed for Manhattans. We asked to speak to the manager he came over but did nothing but say their drink prices are based off the prices charged at Shanahans Steak House. We googled Shanahans menu and the price for a Manhattan was only $14 so the manager was FOS. I feel that that we were scammed by the waiter to a bait and switch. We told the manager and the waiter that we would never set foot in this restaurant again. I would have deducted $15 from the waiters tip, the amount I feel we were overcharged for the 2 Manhattans, but the gratuity was automatically added to our bill because of the size of the party. Forewarned is forearmed. Make sure that you know the price of the drink you are ordering, especially if no price is listed on their drink menu.

We returned to Le French for a wonderful evening starting with the escargots. I had the scallops and my partner had the mussels. The waiter was attentive and helpful. We had some fun cocktails--mine had sparkling wine, violette and a few other things--just delightful.

Absolute perfection! Our hostess and service were wonderful and personified great energy ! The decor is simple yet elegant, calming and made us feel so special.

This was my first visit to Le French! I enjoyed it very much and was very pleased with the menu selection. Our server was very attentive and always seemed to be there when we needed him.

Le French never disappoints … wether it’s coffee and desert or a meal.

GREAT ATMOSPHERE, THOUGH A LITTLE NOISY AT LUNCH. (LOTS OF HARD SURFACES) WAIT STAFF WAS A LITTLE OVERWHELMED AND UNDERSTAFFED, BUT THE FOOD WAS DELICIOUS! GREAT BAKERY ITEMS TO GO UP FRONT AS WELL.

I have now visited three times. The first time was a service nightmare. My review was responded to so I decided to try again, and we had a lovely meal. This third time we had a lovely server, the food was quite good, but we waited an inordinate amount of time for two dishes that didn't even need to be cooked. Well over half an hour between our appetizers and mains. There were plenty of staff and the restaurant wasn't overly busy, so I guess thatthis is just the raw DNA of this place. Disapointing!

I really enjoyed Le French. I just got back from a trip to Europe and I found that the atmosphere and food very much reminded me of Paris.

We had a wonderful meal! Everything was

Made a reservation to celebrate our 51st anniversary. No mention was made of our occasion so I don’t know why that was even an option. Probably got worst table in the restaurant with view of kitchen with bartender as our server. He was very personable and fun but he was mostly chatting up the bar patrons. Menu was very limited and food was just ok. I don’t think a great value fir the price. Kind of disappointed.
