Jerk chicken was terrible look like regular baked chicken with sauce poured over top of it and it’s dry white meat everything I order was terrible I’m so disappointed first and last time and it took forever to get our food and I placed the over the phone order for pick up it said 20min more like 40 min oxtail was all fat really no meat I feel like I just donated money5/2/22: Reviews are left to help other consumers make wise choices and per my experience dining here was not a wise expenditure.Let's be honest and transparent. A) My order was submitted online via your website. B) I live 30+ minutes away and had to endure traffic for subpar food to say in the least. C) Once I arrived, on location, the order was just being put together. There was NO festival bread..nor was there any attempt to make any. Instead, I was given Two pieces of what tasted like modified jiffy cornbread.Furthermore, despite my ordering a beef patty - you tried to convince me to take a chicken one instead. The avocado mash was straight up guacamole. Instead of altering the truth, you all should seek to provide a better consumer experience for a $50+ order.
Love love love this Jamaican BBQ spot! My friend from out of town and I came in to get food on my lunch break the other day. It was awesome! The ladies were great and the food was so so good! I will 100% be back for more of those ribs!!! :DUpdate: Had the Jerk Chicken for lunch today!! My co worker picked it up for me! SO TASTY! This place is amazing and very affordable!!! The portions are big and you get 2 sides with this meal for $15.22!! That's awesome!! The cornbread is to die for!!! ???
Disappointed! My first time trying this place with my fiancé and my friends. My fiancé and I ordered the jerk chicken. While his plate had the dark and white meat , I got served the white meat only. The chicken was cold and dry and they just seemed to have poured warm Jamaican jerk sauce over It. They were out of the beef Pattie’s and only had the vegetables one…it was ok. I have had better. My friends ordered the oxtail and most of it was just fat! And it cost them over $18 for a plate. The rice and peas were the only thing that was decent.
The order consisted of oxtails,rice and beans,Mac and cheese 2nd order was lamb, potato salad, rice and beans. Decided to try this Restaurant. Food put me on my a**. I had to go to sleep immediately after I ate the food I was surprised at how the portions of food was!!!!! I can't wait to go back and try Something different.
For the cost , the portions received aren't great. The jerk chicken tasted more like BBQ than jerk seasoning. The plantains were great, and the meat pies were okay. The rice and peas were a little dry to me with not enough flavor and the beans were a little hard. With the size of the chicken I received, I think they used Cornish hens instead of regular chicken, and that could also be why the food portion seemed shaby.
One and done. The lady who answered the phone was rude when telling me to order online. When I picked up she was just as rude. Portions definitely don't match the price. My cabbage was more onions than cabbage. Was not as flavorful as other oxtail beans rice and cabbage that I've had. Oxtails not tender at all.Been looking for good Jamaican restaurant since I've been back home this was the 1st one I've tried since my return. Back to the drawing board still searching.
Worth the stop! My husband had jerk pork for the first time ever. He said whenever I'm in Denver and close by, please make a stop for him.I wouldn't be a yardie if I didn't get oxtail. My only problem with the oxtail is that I didn't order two.Friendly staff. Great food.
This was my first experience with this place. I ordered the jerk chicken plate with cabbage. I was supposed to get two pieces of chicken, instead I received a drum stick and a bone covered in jerk sauce. I think they cut the thigh in half, however there was literally no meat on it. It was a door dash order otherwise I would have sent it back. Very disappointed.
Literally took an hour to make the food, was instructed I had to wait out side where there was no parking. And to top it off dude comes outside hands me my food, I get home only to find out literally half the order missing.
Got delivery, tried a bunch of things and super happy with the quality of the food. Super tasty!!
