I am a Jamaican living in Colorado. I just got back from Jamaica a few days ago and I am missing and craving Jamaican food. I was super excited when I googled and find this place. I even shared the details with two of my friends. I saw the reviews and thought I had hit a jackpot because finding a good Jamaican restaurant is hard in these parts. I ordered stew chicken, jerk chicken and a oxtail meal. The jerk chicken wasn’t great but it was edible. As for the other two meals omg I am shaken with disgusted. To anyone reading this review who isn’t Jamaican this place does a very poor representation of our food. And for any Jamaican who says this food is good who raised you?I uploaded the pictures of what I got. One is stew chicken!!!you can google pictures of what Jamaican stew chicken and see is supposed to look like. The other is oxtail both smothered in a thick cornstarch gravy based. I still want to puke. Those meals are disgusting and an embarrassment to our culture. It’s gets 0 stars. Learn the recipes and make them correct or don’t do it all. How dare you cook this mess and call it Jamaican food.

I had never had ox tail, and it was delicious, also the jerk chicken was wonderfully smoky and spicy, the plantains and rice and peas rounded the meal out perfectly.

Today, I ordered the oxtails, the goat and the wings. I was extremely disappointed. For $20 the oxtail plate had a bunch of rice and a few peas, which had kinda dried out. The oxtail it's self is equal to one large oxtail sliced horizontally into four pieces and was extremely salty with a couple of tablespoons of cooked cabbage. The goat was nicely flavored but lacked in portion size with about 4 small pieces of curried goat. It also had a lot of rice ( kinda dry) and some cabbage. The Jamaican wings would have been really good but the flavor was overwhelmed with salt just like the oxtails. I've eaten here several times before and was pleased when I left. I seriously doubt that after today's experience if I will return.

Oh wow this is my new favorite place in Denver. I got the Barbie Fried Chicken and my husband got the Jerk Shrimp. Both are amazing and so are all the sides. Like seriously, some of the best sauce and spices I've ever put in my mouth.Oh and the Chicken was cooked perfectly. So tender and juicy. So many places do Chicken wrong. Thanks for doing it right!I'll be back and bringing friends for sure! Thanks for taking care of me on a busy lunch hour.

This was my first experience with this place. I ordered the jerk chicken plate with cabbage. I was supposed to get two pieces of chicken, instead I received a drum stick and a bone covered in jerk sauce. I think they cut the thigh in half, however there was literally no meat on it. It was a door dash order otherwise I would have sent it back. Very disappointed.

Jamaican grille has fallen off. The food used to be way better. I got a sea bass and it was super salty and very over cooked. The rice was undercooked and I clearly asked for seared fish, I got fried. The only good part of this meal was the cabbage. I can tell it's not the same cook as before. I might have to find a new place to get my Jamaican.

Literally took an hour to make the food, was instructed I had to wait out side where there was no parking. And to top it off dude comes outside hands me my food, I get home only to find out literally half the order missing.
