Honestly the BEST Thai food in Denver! I am always on the hunt for good Thai food and most places have let me down in one way or another. This place has been on my radar for some time-it’s a very unassuming mom & pop “hole in the wall” type restaurant. The last time we came in, it was going to be an hour wait and I was too hungry, so we went elsewhere. This time it was the same wait time, but we decided to wait it out, and I am so glad we did! All of the dishes we ordered tasted so delicious, full of flavor & spices, and most importantly “wok hei” (IYKYK)! The lady that works there (probably owner) is so sweet and gracious. If you come during rush hours, expect to wait a bit, but I promise you, it’s worth it!! My favorites were the Tom Kha soup, country Pad Thai, and Spicy Thai Fried Rice! My only regret is that we didn’t come sooner. This place has easily earned the spot of my favorite Thai food in Denver and we will definitely be back for more!
Came here with no expectations and walked out with a new favorite Thai restaurant! Wow. Everything was so delicious and the service was so welcoming and friendly. Eat here. You will love. Bring your friends. Bring your kids. 10/10
Really tasty pork, chicken, noodles, rice.Portions aren’t gigantic like cheaper spots but they still fill you up. Friendly staff, clean tables and floor.Parking lot is awful, suggest reversing into a spot to get out easier if possible. Easy to miss the turn in as well!Definitely a spot to hit up and keep coming back to!
I used to come here all the time when I first just moved to the states. I recently made it back there a couple days ago and realized how good the food was and had to go back there again tonight.I got Pad Kee Mao, Pad Gra Pow, Pad Lad Na Noodles, and Slide Beef Noodles Soup. They were all so good! The service was also great too. The owner of the restaurant was always so polite and sweet. This restaurant was definitely one of my favorite Thai restaurants in Colorado.
For a team of 2 running this place, I am SO impressed. Everything we had was INCREDIBLY good. We had a combination of noodle dishes, roce stir fries, and curry, and everything was so fresh and delicious. The lady hosting and serving was so sweet and attentive, the man cooking clearly knew how to handle a lot of stuff at once very well. The service was friendly. The food was delicious. 100% eat here.
By far the most delicious Thai food in Denver! Do not pass up on this little gem of a restaurant. The owners are extremely nice people and the food is just amazing. J's Noodles Star Thai quickly became one of my favorite restaurants of all time. I've recommended this place to many friends and family and I've gotten nothing but great feedback from them. So many good dishes, but I would recommend the Pad Garlic with beef or the Drunken Noodles, but first start with the Tom Yum. You won't regret it!
Been here many times! Take-out and eat-in (pre-covid, that is, but we'd eat there now that things have been mellowing out). Very sweet people, they always get our order right, priced fairly, not a "gorgeous" atmosphere but definitely clean. Excellent Thai noodles- and we occasionally get curry (green) it's good but the noods (and Tom kha) are the standouts. Some fav fav dishes here:Tom kha (sooo good. So. Good.) W chickenDrunken noodles (beef)Country pad Thai (Chicken)Bean thread noodles (beef)I usually eat vegetarian when I can but J's preparation of tofu is not my fav - it doesn't really absorb the delicious flavors well and it's fried and a little floppy anyway so I just get meat as my protein (or more veggies if I wanna skip it). The vegetables are pretty fresh and cooked nicely. It's been consistently good for years so I'd recommend it to anyone that likes Thai food.
J's Noodles Star Thai serves THE BEST THAI FOOD IN DENVER!!!I'm from California where the Thai food is superb, and I've worked in Bangkok - please trust me when I tell you this place is the best you're going to find within the metro. You can't go wrong with any selection on the menu, but I will say that I am a big fan of their Tom Yum (Spicy Lemon Soup) and Kuay Teaw Nua (Beef Noodles Soup). They actually give it to you spicy when you ask for it!They carry standard Thai beers, and their tea ain't half bad!
Best Thai food in town really enjoy eating here matter a fact on the way over there to get some food. The basil platter and the tom yum soup is delicious. Fire ?
The most delicious authentic Thai food in Denver. The Tom Kha soup is my favorite, along with the curries.
