This is the best Illegal Pete's in the state!! Seriously, I would drive the extra miles just to have this type of customer service. I specifically want to call out Bud for making our experience SO amazing. What I loved the most was I brought my 3 year old here who is extremely shy, Bud asked her what she'd like on her Taco and she just pointed. Bud wasn't rude or anything. He was extremely patient and so kind and helpful. Definitely come here! All of the employees are amazing as well as is the food.
The best Illegal Pete’s location in my opinion! My wife and I live very close and come here often. We’re super busy with our son and both working demanding jobs so when we need a quick consistently good lunch that doesn’t cost and arm and a leg we come here. Staff is friendly, situated in a nice neighborhood, and we just genuinely enjoy the food. We appreciate that they have vegetarian options too, and that the food doesn’t taste over-salted or unhealthy. It’s just right! Definitely go!

Phenomenal burritos! So delicious, and now I understand why it’s called Illegal Pete’s - super addicting.I’m visiting Denver for the first time and I’ve already been there multiple times. Quick easy and chill, but tasty.
The food and service were great. The patio misters are great when it's really hot but they're way too strong. The table is wet and we were damp by the time we left. Kids were running around like it's a jungle gym. Jumping on tables, running into people, swinging on the railings, playing with the hose...I blame the parents mostly but the restaurant seems to be fine with it.
Since going back home, this place feels like the ex girlfriend that you ended things on good terms with, years have past and you think of her every day. But you can't go back. You can never go back. She's married and she has kids and has never been happier and you're happy for her in a bittersweet way. You scroll her Instagram on occasion even though your therapist told you to cut back. You're in your late 30s now and you have nothing to show for the years. At least your dog loves you...or you tell yourself that.
Pete's is my jam whenever I'm in town. This one is especially awesome. You can tell the people who work here enjoy their jobs. Get the queso.. in whatever way you want it.. drink it straight if you have to.. but get the queso
Slow. Waited 15 minutes to move less than 2 feet in line. 5-6 staff members all standing around scratching their butts. Clearly they were busy and moving with 0 sense of urgency. Different locations I have been at had no issues with large lines. Avoid unless you have hour to wait for fast food.
The food and drinks are amazing with incredible staff. I found my new after work decompression spot. You can't go wrong with any of the food and must try the Mexican candy shot. Mel is our fav
This is my top 5 favorite places to eat in Denver/Aurora area. The food is super fresh and you get to watch them make the food too. Super fun and cool vibes this is place. You can take drinks, yes from the bar, to go.
