Staff are friendly. They used to have Chinese special menu on the wall like in Asia. Not anymore. I didn't see the special select 3 items from around 30 items menu anymore either. Those use to have some great deals for the price as I always have leftover the next couple of meals.
Food was great. The roast duck was really great, crispy skin, juicy meat and only $17 for half a huge duck. The J7 Beef, ginger, scallion dish was the best I’ve ever had. Wontons in the soup we’re huge. I will definitely be back. Be prepared for a bit of a slow service but that does not take away from the great food.
I had lunch at this place yesterday for the first time since the pandemic. They have new owners now..... the food was terrible and the price has gone sky high compared with pre-pandemic days. Will not go there anymore!
I love HKBBQ. We used to eat in before the pandemic, but eat in is now closed. I got a whole pig for a company party last night, and it was the BOMB! Beautiful presentation, delicious pig, great price. The people at HKBBQ are always friendly and helpful.
Super delicious char siu!! The cuts of meat were definitely on the fattier side, but they were still delicious. Can't wait to come back to the their dishes! Takeout only as of 06/01/2022.
I bought some food from this store last week, it was terrible salty and taste very bad, They seems like no experiences to make that kinds of food, especially they were not happy to take my advice when I called them and gave them some suggestions! I really missing the previous owner of that store!

Seems like the new owners manage to keep the same recipes even though this place changed hands since last we visited a couple of years ago. Highly recommend!(Due to pandemic, they still only serve take-out orders; no dine-in yet as of 12/2021)
I got some roasted pork today, the meat quality is bad and the skin is rubbery. And I saw her cutting the pork head on my order….i order roasted pork not “ roasted pork head” . I didn’t want to said anything there BECUASE there’s customer waiting. Please don’t do this to the future customers!!
Not the fanciest vibe, but the food is authentic and delicious. Even the green beans are phenomenal. Lots to try.
