Yumm Nepali food in Denver. The chicken momo and the sauce reminds me of eating momo back home. I missed the taste of authentic Nepali momo, but this momo satiated my cravings. The non-veg thali was tasty as well, the curries had authentic Nepali taste, since there’s a drastic difference between the taste of Indian and Nepali curry. Would love to visit here again on our next trip to Denver. The only complaint I have here is the lack of parking spots, we had to spend 10 minutes or so to find a street parking. There’s a decent sized parking lot in the strip mall but all marked for different businesses.
We got the samosa chart, paneer masala, and garlic naan/ rice.1. Samosa Chaat: it was tangy and sweet with adequate spice. The garlic based Masada had a stronger garlic taste to it though.2. Paneer Masala: we asked for medium spice but the spice overwhelmed the flavor. The paneer was good though, not the freshest paneer, but then again there has been one indian place in the US that had true in house made paneer. Its called Angel, its in Queens, NY if you ever want to go try it.3. Garlic naan/ rice: the naan was more crumbly than elastic like other Indian places but it was good overall. The garlic topping wasn't overbearing. The rice with the paneer was overpowered by the spice in the masala. The service and atmosphere was good. Our total bill was low ~$30, so a good cheap meal for two.
Great spot for lunch. Great food. I have the samosas and the fried mushrooms. Awesome lunch specials.
This is a fantastic restaurant. The meat was higher quality than we have experienced and many similar places. The service was friendly and attentive and the food came out quickly and tasted delicious. The portions are good and the prices are reasonable. There are so many things I want to try on their menu, we'll have to plan another trip to Himchuli.
This restaurant had a great atmosphere, was very clean, and had friendly, accommodating staff. The food was amazing and came out faster than I expected. Portions were great. The seasoning was on point too. Probably some of the best Indian cuisine I’ve ever had, and I’ve tried a lot of places! P.S. get the mango lassi you will not regret it
Authentic food, great service. I had the chicken Tikka masala and the lamb saag. Heat level on the lamb, I chose a #5 and it gave plenty of heat! It did take a while for our food to come, but I didn't really mind because when getting REAL food time is expected.
Very relaxed atmosphere with very good food and service. Went with a group and had lamb tandoori, mixed vegetable curry (the best), salmon masala, vegetable samosas, garlic naan, and shrimp something (I don't remember.) All was very good though the lamb tandoori was slightly dry. The server was Baboo, from Nepal, and he was excellent. All in all, a nice time was had by us all.
Had dinner at this fantastic restaurant on Friday March 19th. Visited Denver for a few days and asked our airbnb host for some recommendations. He was spot on. This was the best Indian meal I have ever had. My daughter agrees. We were blown away!!!! Will return here on my next visit to Denver.
We've had a few main go to places for Indian food but decided to try something new. This place is amazing!! We usually have leftovers but we ate everything and don't feel guilty at all. So freaking good!!
My husband and I live in Dallas and we were craving Indian food while in Denver. This place has very authentic Indian food and we liked it a lot. The service is a bit slow but it was a Friday night.
