Ordered two dishes that were 100% inedible (lamb saag and shrimp korma). The samosa appetizer was good. Surly servers. Janky chairs. Can not recommend.
I've been here 3 times before, and it's by far my favorite spot for Indian food. Every time I go, the restaurant is nearly empty, which is a shame because the food is absolutely drop dead delicious. I've tried a solid number of menu items and been impressed by everything. Check this place out.Edit: service has been incredible besides one woman, and even that was fine, and the man who I presume is the owner has gone above and beyond. If I remember correctly, when I went with a group for my birthday (though I didn't say it was my birthday), they gifted something on the house go the table that was incredible. I'm a young white Midwesterner, and I always order a level 4 spice (out of 5), and find it perfect. I've had several friends struggle a bit with a 2 though, so order at a 1 if you don't like spice haha. The cocktails are stronger than expected but good, and the appetizers are all so fabulous you could make a full meal of them if you wanted.
We got there on a Sunday evening so business was mostly takeout and door dash pick ups. The staff was very attentive from entry throughout and the food was great. I got the lamb biryani and my daughter got the butter chicken. Loved both.
The food was excellent - some of the best Indian/Himalayan I have had in Denver so far. Decore is a bit stark but the food and prices more than makeup for that. A note about the hotness scale. I choose 2.5 on a scale of 1-5 with 5 being the hottest. 2.5 was much too hot for me. Next time I will go with a 1 hot scale. Easy parking.
The food here is delicious and some of the top Indian food in Denver. We had the mixed vegi pakora, dal maharani, and creamy kofta. The cheese balls in the kofta were a little strange but still very good. It's not like paneer at all.I love spice and the spice levels here are strong. Even a two is relatively spicy, i can't imagine what a five is.
Another update: We have been ordering takeout from here since our first visit half a year ago, and the food quality remains great. Orders were completed quickly too. Still recommended!Good food with lots of variety, not greasy at all. Fair price, friendly staff, roomy seating, and clean bathrooms. Great experience overall. Will return for take out and dining in for sure.
Made a reservation last weekend on open table. Showed up at the restaurant (drove 30 minutes) and it was closed.

So sad to see Bijou’s gone, but happy they are still serving Indian food at this location. The asparagus appetizer was fantastic! Extra basmati was provided at no extra charge. The naan was thinner than what I’m used too, but a little crispy and soo good. The vegetable vindaloo was packed with veggies!! Yay! Heat levels range from one to five. We stayed between 2-3, which was a nice level and we like spice. Not as casual as Bijous, great service, fun drink menu. Mango lassi made in house. Cheers ?
Excellent food! Excellent service!
