I'm hoping it was just an off night but we tried the chicken shawarma for takeout and it didn't look anything like the photos in previous reviews. The pita was dry and a bit stale, and the chicken was covered in a mayo based sauce with some iceberg lettuce. No romaine, onions or feta and maybe a single tomato. The falafels were also dry. Pete's is much better for the same price point.
Wow, Gyro was great, but the guy in front of me got the lamb shank and it looked amazing. I wish I had the appetite for that today. Will definitely be going back for it.
I didn't even get a before picture It was so good I just inhaled it. Get the falafel plate its the best meal I've had in a while! So good!

First time here but definitely won't be the last. They have a couple of tables but chose to take away. Went with the gyro plate. Meat was very well spiced and the rice was lightly seasoned which went well together. Cucumber salad was a little sweet but still tasty. The patrons dining in were served via to go containers so not a place for fine dining but, wow, the flavors! And very friendly service as well
This place is amazing, a great hole-in-the-wall Mediterreanean joint. The lamb shank was cooked to perfection, and huge for the price (12.99 inc. rice, pitta, cucumber salad and tzatziki). The chicken kebab is great too. Fully recommend this place.
This food is fantastic. Best Mediterranean food I’ve ever had. I was just in Israel for the year, and I ate pretty much everything there, and this is as good if not BETTER. Super Authentic, great prices, amazing flavors and spicing, and a GREAT man who runs the place. Fresh, Yummy, Awesome. 5/5 star best of luck!!
Small, unassuming shop but Incredible flavors, generous portions, affordable. The tzatziki is delicious
I ordered food from Hayati online a few months ago. The order was processed and went through. I went to go pick it up and the whole establishment was closed... I called many times, tried to open the door, no one was there. I was sad to say the least. I called my bank and tried to get my money back since my card was still charged. I was able to get my money back, then last week it was taken out of my account again. Since it was processed through a third-party app (ritual), it is on the restaurant to reimburse. I tried to call them many times to no avail. I wish I was able to write a better review - the food looks great! But my experience was not.
Ordered the plate and gyro sandwich. Food was AMAZING. Fresh. Crisp. Hummus was interesting. Definitely try if vegan. Sweet cucumbers actually. Sriracha on Gyro was perfection. As good as it was, gyro loses. I'll take the amazing vegan plate for everyday. Must try if in the city. Can stop by on the way to the airport if on light rail.
