We just happened to walk by this bake shop and decided to see what it was all about. The lady helping us was very friendly and helpful. We brought half a dozen and I was very pleased with the cupcakes we bought. Our family liked them as well. I’ll be back when I’m around that neighborhood.
We had them bake cupcakes for my daughter’s unicorn-themed birthday party. I didn’t know exactly what to ask for, so they gave me some options and did a phenomenal job. The cupcakes were adorable and delicious. We received several compliments.
If I could give less, I would. Down the street are some great lunch/dinner options. On 3 separate occasions I've walked in after grabbing lunch and been the only person in there. After a minute someone will tell me to give them a minute. I wait 5 minutes without anyone taking an order or even coming to the front. All I want is a cupcake or cookie. Nope. Never happens. It's almost a funny bit at this point. Wish I could tell you about their baking skills. Order ahead I guess. This ain't a quick dessert spot
Really disapointed with their service, they did'nt make my order. I call in advance to custom some cupcakes for my boyfriend's birthday, I wrote an email with the flavors and pictures so they have an idea of what I wanted, I even sent different kinds of cupcakes designs and told them to choose which one was easier for them depending of the bakery style.I was super excited all week because it was a surprise gift, I got off work earlier so I can pick them up to found up that my order didn't exist. They told me probably a new employee put a diferent date for the pick up, I show the email and designs and confirmation email from them.An important day was ruined, they just told me to pick the cupcakes they had there which is not a solution for something you've planned in advance. I just had regular cupcakes instead of the pirate ones I wanted.With this review I just want to express how me and other people feel when they planned a special celebration, the dedication to choose YOU and get a bad service, I really had a bad time, so sad and disapointed. luckily I'm creative and get to fix them.

They were truly a pleasure to work with, and the desserts were incredible. I love HBS. Their macrons are to die for; they’re crunchy but chewy and soft and filled to perfection. I’ve had Nutella, birthday cake, lemon and chocolate. Also the vegan oatmeal PB bars are amazing. I just had a cupcake and was shocked to see the reviews about dense cake. Pumpkin cupcake late in the day- still moist and great. I also ordered my cousin a vegan cookie cake for her birthday and asked for a custom design and it turned out flawless and she loved it.

I went with a friend! I had a couple of macarons and a vegan gluten free cupcake! Both were delicious ?! I'll definitely be going back!
