Really enjoyed the pot stickers and sushi. It was a busy Saturday night. Almost a little too loud upstairs. Better option might have been to sit outside. Our server was very accommodating.
We had to ask for soy sauce and they gave us attitude when we asked. Then we waiting a long time for the bill and had to ask for that too. Also made us feel like an inconvenience for sitting further away outside even thought they sat us there
We sat outside, it was a warm evening. The outside area could be better, as itâs pretty close quarters, but we enjoyed our girls night out!
As someone who used to East Coast sushi, this isnât very good by comparison. The rolls are small, and the sashimi is cut flat and thin. Also wasnât the freshest fish, but maybe Iâm expecting too much out of Denver sushi. Nothing was explicitly wrong with it. Noise level was fine, but there were lots of tiny flies around. One flew into my little soy sauce plate and we were quickly given a new one.
Good selection of sushi and drinks. The Pacific Isle roll was the favorite. Spicy tuna, tempura asparagus and jalapeño rolled up and topped with albacore tuna, cilantro and chili ponzu. Great place with bar seating, tables and outdoor sidewalk tables too.
It was good. I would recommend and visit again. It was a nice find.
