The experience was great I’d do it again.

Always an experience! Meat cuts are always fresh. Waiters are always attentive. One tip is to always check on your order of meats delivered especially if you get a package and don’t exactly remember what comes with it. A couple of times 1-2 meat orders never came out and we had to ask for it.

You called me to cancel my reservation, you said it was because you were severely understaffed so you were calling people to cancel all the reservations to close early. I worked in restaurants, so I was fine with that, and I could understand it. Only until I noticed that you guys were actually open still, and taking reservations. Nor did you close early. I live across the street, so I saw this with my own eyes. Then I learned that you were only understaffed because you had given too many employees time off at the same time. This was supposed to be a special occasion dinner, and you ruined it.

It's definitely a restaurant for Japanese cuisine lovers . Not a place I'd visit again. The food is not seasoned and everything is Miso for Christ sake. Nothing has a good flavor, and there was definitely no BBQ as I thought. Dissatisfied for sure.

I love going to Gyu-Kaku. They have an amazing happy hour, but even without it every option is still such a great deal. My husband and I love coming here for date nights, and we always leave full.

Had booked a reservation for a party of 8 over a month ago. We showed up on time and the restaurant manager tried to cram all 8 of us in a booth only suitable for 4 and 1 grill. We told them this is not appropriate for a party of 8 and we demanded a table suitable for a party of 8 per the reservation. The restaurant manager was not willing to work with us, despite the restaurant being practically empty. It was pathetic and it really shows how compitent the restaurant manager is. Would not recommend. Don't bother with a reservation. Even if the restaurant is empty they will not be willing to accommodate. Take your money elsewhere. We will never go back again.

Birthday meal. Love the food did the meal for 3 people, and it was enough for 4 of us. Just add a couple things we wanted to try.

Great first time trying Japanese BBQ!! We did the $45 all you can eat on Wednesday. Food was delicious! My only feedback is service could of been better, waters were always empty even when the servers said they would be back with more water. The server mentioned they were under staffed so I totally understand which is why I am not leaving any stars off from this 5 star review. Staff is not something that can always be controlled in these times of covid era.Besides that I would absolutely come back!

I am Japanese. Overall, I had a great experience. It was delicious. Ordered course menu. Beef sushi was great. BBQ were great. Personally, I thought bibimbap’s onions needed to cook before serving. Plus they were too big cuts for me. But taste was good. But personally, I like bibimbap in Japan better.

Love Gyu Kaku since we always enjoy the food
